Used 2003 Saturn VUE Fwd 4dr SUV (2.2L 4cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Saturn losing it's charm.
After a wonderful dealer experience with my first Saturn several years ago, my Vue experience was akin to the same old typical b.s.you expect elsewhere. This manual is difficult to shift and noone can seem to fix it. The size is great and it's wonderful on the highway, but I wouldn't do it again.
Interior is cheap
I love my Vue, but the interior is cheaply made and doesn't stand up to two dogs.!

Don't believe Editors Ratings
While the interior may be bland, and the plastic knobs 'cheap' to some...I bought the car for reliablity....I LOVE IT !
They bought it back!
Got a great deal (Spring sales Event)on a 2.2 4 cylinder 2wd fully loaded VUE. Loved the vehicle. My wife still owns an original Saturn. (Doesn't count for anything at Saturn) 3,000 miles translated into 3 visits to the Saturn Service Department and 3 different rental cars. The vehicle suffered reduced power on 3 different occassions at 3 different rates of speed and road conditions. Saturn couldn't fix it and bought it back under our state's Lemon Law telling me I can get a replacement vehicle. That is if I wanted to pay the additional $7,000 more for a comparably equipped Vue. Yeah right!
Buyer beware
The VTi transmission in the 2003 Vue is very bad. After we had paid our car off last month, we were driving home from the in-laws and the Vue went into "default" mode, not allowing us to drive more that 20 MPH. After we researched the problem, our transmission was shot, with a $6,000 estimate for repairs. Research the transmission issues if you consider buying this car. Besides that, we liked Saturn but will most likely never buy another Saturn.
