Used 2003 Saturn VUE Fwd 4dr SUV (2.2L 4cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
Fun car to drive until 100,000 miles
I bought my Vue brand new 5 years ago. Fun to drive, easy to carry large cargo and to transport adults with limited mobility. Once the car hit 100,000 it fell apart. I have replaced the transmission at 100,000, accelerator sensor, catilytic converter and exhaust valve, coil pack with spark plugs. Within the past year I had to replace the ignition and when the car was under warranty a cylinder head was replaced. After $10,000 in repairs, I would not consider another Saturn.
Get the 4cyl 5sp Saturn Vue
I stopped by the local Saturn dealer to take a look at the Vue when it came out, not really expecting to purchase the vehicle since I expected lousy gas mileage. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at the EPA estimate. We find the vehicle much better than the Honda or Toyota because of the road manners, carrying capability, turn radius, unique look and the hidden spare tire. We really don't like the spare tire on the tailgate for safety and security concerns. We live in Florida and basicly use the vehicle on paved roads our Vue handles the torential rain storms very well. The folks at the Dealer service center are EXXXXcelent!!!!

Great Choice of a Car
I have now owned this car for a little over a year and still to this day I have no reservations about buying this car, it gets me where I need to go and with great gas milleage (which is good for a college student!!!!)
Saturn losing it's charm.
After a wonderful dealer experience with my first Saturn several years ago, my Vue experience was akin to the same old typical b.s.you expect elsewhere. This manual is difficult to shift and noone can seem to fix it. The size is great and it's wonderful on the highway, but I wouldn't do it again.
Interior is cheap
I love my Vue, but the interior is cheaply made and doesn't stand up to two dogs.!
