Used 1995 Saturn S-Series Sedan Consumer Reviews
Reliable Small and Good Looking
I bought this car about 6 months ago with 140K miles. I have now 150K miles. I never got any trouble. Runs great and reliable. Good gas milage. Just passed inspection without any problem. This is pretty unusual for American Cars with 150K miles. I am sure, it will go another 50K miles with original engine and transmission.
Was great til it hit 100,000
The main reason I chose a Saturn was it's relaiability..several friends had owned them with great luck... over 200,000 miles for a few of them. I took care of all the necessary maintenance, but have had problems with the engine running too hot and it's cost me a lot of money. Small things go wrong... Dummy lights that won't go off... cheaply made interior hardware... also have had a leaky window since I owned the car. Trading it in now, I've had enough of it.

I got my 1995 Saturn in 4/04 with 112,000 miles. It was a gift from my mother upon graduation from a 10 month rehab. program. Today the car has 214,000 miles and has been very inexpensive and easy to fix. I do most of the work myself. During my times of relapse I abused this car beyond belief. I ran the oil so low (for 300 miles) that it ticked like a bomb. I'm surprised the boys from Homeland Security didn't pay me a visit. I used my tranny as a brake and blew a valve seal. On my most current & 3rd trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Phoenix the water pump sprang a healthy leak in Sarasota, Fl. I still made it! The car gets awesome gas mileage, I recorded 42 hwy & 35 city

I bought my car used over 5 years ago and it is one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. It is all manual, so you can push it to drive hard and scoot around anybody that you need to. It may not have the most comfortable seats, but it is certanitly reliable!
Love this Car
Bought it about a yera ago. Aside from a few repairs after a wreck, this car is a tank. I blew a tire, rear-ended someone and it only got a few scratches and a slightly loosened engine mount ($450 total for 4 tires and mount!). That ladies car was wrecked. Cost $20 to fill the thing at $2.51 per gal. and is easy to maintain. Never have problems outside of usual maintenance.
