Used 1995 Saturn S-Series Sedan Consumer Reviews
Perfect 2nd Car
This was my second vehicle, and I had it for about two years. My little sister drives it now. My first car was 92 Saturn SL1, so the power features (locks and winders) of the SL2 were a nice upgrade. Great gas mileage. Small tank, but I still took that thing for nearly 400 miles before I filled it up. Back in 07 I remember it only took $20 bucks to fill it up. Great car for point A to point B commuting. Not gonna turn any heads, but that's not what this car is for.
Great car!
I have owned my Saturn now for 4 years and the car has been wonderful. I bought the car used at a great price. There have been only a few minor quirks, but the way all easily rectified. Overall an excellent car that has never given me any problems.
Best Car Ever
this was my first car and i miss it sooo much. it had 250,000 miles on it when the transmission went and i couldnt afford to fix it. great little car with awesome gas millage. would give anything to have it back.
Defect of poor quality?
Good car, but cheaply made! My wife’s 1995 SL2 Saturn has 66,000 miles and the car started shaking uncontrollably. I took it to a Saturn dealer in Orlando Florida, and the service representative said the engine and transmission mounts were broken. (This car has never been in a fender bender!) The service representative continued to say these mounts break after time for no reason at all, and need to be replaced. I did not expect a perfect car, but this is truly ridiculous. Shame on you Saturn manufacture! When we purchased the 1995 Saturn, it never occurred to me there was a possibility the engine could fall off the car.
Underwiters Laboratories
I got my 1995 Saturn in 4/04 with 112,000 miles. It was a gift from my mother upon graduation from a 10 month rehab. program. Today the car has 214,000 miles and has been very inexpensive and easy to fix. I do most of the work myself. During my times of relapse I abused this car beyond belief. I ran the oil so low (for 300 miles) that it ticked like a bomb. I'm surprised the boys from Homeland Security didn't pay me a visit. I used my tranny as a brake and blew a valve seal. On my most current & 3rd trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Phoenix the water pump sprang a healthy leak in Sarasota, Fl. I still made it! The car gets awesome gas mileage, I recorded 42 hwy & 35 city
