Used 2003 Saturn L-Series Sedan Consumer Reviews
Great Car
I like the European feel for thousands less than a German car. I've owned a Saturn before and I am expecting good dependability and resale value like I experienced with previous Saturns. My kids love the free DVD system in the back seat, I love the 0% percent for 60 months.
Dangerous Car !!!!
EVERYTIME the cooling fan kicks on ALL lights severely dim, then return to normal brightness. This is making truckers, RV's, buses etc. passing me, think I have flashed my headlights signaling that they have cleared my car enough to return to my lane, when they haven't. This is dangerous and has caused me and others many terrifying moments, especially on interstates !! Plus with the headlights & tail lights constantly doing this, it makes all motorists think I am constantly tapping my brakes and/or flashing my headlights at them, thus I am getting serious road rage from others.

sent it back
I purchased a 2003 L200 with the leather/comfort package with the end of year incentives. The price was great, the car was not. After 3 weeks I returned the car with the Saturn 30 day money back guarantee (no longer available on the 04s). The car got poor gas milage (the reason I traded in my old car), the seats were very uncomfortable, the climate control system was horrible, the radio had a hissing sound to it, and the dash developed squeeks. We once owned an SL2 and loved it. It was a solid, economical, fun car - the reason we went back to a Saturn. GM has turned the Saturn into a generic GM box. I love my new Volvo.
