Used 2004 Saturn ION Sedan Consumer Reviews
Great Driver, Quiet and Zippy !
Driven for 5 weeks now, center mounted speedo was greatest concern, no problem in changing to watch from center of dash car rides great, quiet especially, shifts fine, comfortable and nice interior, great looks and great visibility from inside. A nice car which feels more expensive that it really is...........glad I looked before I bought a Ford Focus, ION is much nicer ride and drive ! Car actually rides and feels like a BMW.
My New Ion
Fresh off the lot, and so far so good. Had a Saab before, so it's a little hard to downgrade on the features, but it's a good little car so far... the instrument panel is a change, but not bad. Keepin' my fingers crossed!
Saturn ION3
After having this ION 3 for 1 week, I am totally in love with it. All the automatic features are awesome. The pickup is great for a 4 cyl. engine. It rides beautifully and handles great. There is plenty of room for me in the front.
No longer skeptical of new models.
We really enjoy driving this car. Good acceleration. Tracks and handles well. Plenty of room in trunk and fold down rear seats allow large cargo. Has all the bells and whistles and it all works just as it should. Electronic steering takes a little while to get used to. Easy to park and the dent resistant side panels are great. Some people thought we had a "Mercedes."
Going to be my last Saturn...sad
My wife and I bought a new ION (9th Saturn for my family since 94) and before it reached 10000 miles we had to take it to the dealership 3 times for suspension issues (suspension arm/brushings replaced). It also lunges forward between 2nd and 3rd gear when accelerating slowy and it downshifts and jerks backwards when coasting down hills. When I roll my windows up and down it sounds like a jack-in-the-box before it pops open. My 94 Saturn was great. It had 180,000 on it before we traded it in and got a 2008 Civic. I really don't think the ION will make it that long.
