I think this car is highly underrated. We had a bad experience with a previous Saturn, but the ION has been a godsend. Very reliable, very sporty, very fun to drive! The battery in the trunk is unique and very convenient for my needs.

We went to the Hyundai dealer and it was the worst eperience ever. They were the agressive old fashioned sales guys. They wanted us to sign a paper before we even had decided if we wanted the car. Also they wanted to charge us $225.- processing fees, Saturn charges $85.-. Also I would like to know where I can buy a Elantra with moonroof, leather and ABS for less then what we paid for the ION. We love the way it drives, chairs are comfortable, a lot better then the Ford Escort and the trunk is huge.

I just got my new car on Tuesday, and I just love it. GM sent me a letter saying that I could use my GM dollars towards a Saturn, and if I used them by December 31st, they would double them. Wow, that is $ 1,600.00 off my car. Thanks GM.

This is my first Saturn and I like it so far. The dealership experience was good and they were very fast.

I got the Ion3 for under 16K. I avg 34 mpg on the hwy and 26 mpg in the city. The handling is very good and I’m very satisfied with the engine and manual transmission, on the hwy and in the city. I haven’t found any defects in either the exterior or interior. I like the center IP and the steering wheel. I could not disagree more with the professional reviewers who seem to equate the interior design concept of the Ion with shoddiness. To me, the driver’s pod puts me in mind of a well- designed video game and I’m very comfortable with that. In fact, I have yet to feel anything but happy and satisfied with my purchase when I’m behind the wheel.
