Used 2003 Saturn ION Sedan Consumer Reviews
A real LEMON!
Poor acceleration, terrible shifting, very uncomfortable seating, drinks gas like water.
Love the ion
I think the Ion is a great car! Being a teenager, I wasn't a little hesitant when I got a Saturn, but I think they have done an excellent job with the Ion. Its sporty, fun, and a great car. I love to be seen in the Ion!
ION IT!!!!!
THIS CAR IS GREAT. THIS IS MY SECOND SATURN, I TRADED IN MY 1997 SL1 AS SOON AS THIS ONE HIT SATURN OF FORT MYERS IN MY COLOR, CRANBERRY. MY FIRST SATURN HAD ALMOST 110,000 MILES AND IT WAS STILL GOING, MY ION2 HAS 15,000 MILES AND I'VE ONLY HAD IT SINCE FEBRUARY1. IT IS FUN TO DRIVE, EXCELLENT PICK UP, AND MARVELOUS ON GAS MILEAGE--EAT YOUR HEART OUT COROLLA!!!
Lots of car for the money
On the road the car feels confident, with rather reassuring amount of power. On the highway the Ion feels smooth and stable at whatever the posted limit is, and then some. Off the highway the Ion feels nimble on the side streets and parking lots. The center mounted IP only takes a few minutes of driving to adjust to and allows for a smaller, sportier steering wheel. The drivers seat has more than enough adjustments to make it comfortable. There are also plenty of cubby holes for storing things
Yip Yap
I went in to only test drive an Ion 2, and ended up buying an Ion 3. Due to good timing and stroke of good luck I bought the Ion 3 w/ ABS for less than the stock Ion 2's cost. Everything on this car is an upgrade from my previous 1994 Toyota Tercel. I love the looks inside and out. It has great acceleration and handling and I really enjoy all the little extras(anti- lockout, auto headlights, power everything, etc). Overall, I'm very satisfied with this car.
