The Pontiac Grand Prix's have the best performance in power and handling with out losing practicality. Not to mention the beautiful shape with aggressive curves.

We bought this car new in December 1997, and have since clocked 175,000 miles on her. We have done routine maintenance, replaced the A/C, window motors and supercharger, but otherwise the car has been very reliable, still looks and drives very good. Update: Our son took ownership of the Grand Prix in 2021, and it is still going. Not sure of the mileage, but it has to be near 250k. Biggest complaint is the interior plastic components, which have become brittle and crack easily. Engine and drive train are still good.

Have us 15 great years of service selling it

Great car red, GT 3800 series II engine with the wide track suspension . Had enough power to move and the displacement to not work hard doing it. Also because it had a wonderful overdrive on the transmission it would coast on forever and you could easily get over 20mpg in the city just by laying off the gas and letting ease around . Got to ding with Fishtank rear lights they tended to fog or fill up with water that never really drained out. Went through several bulbs and a few light assemblies. Engine never died for me , it was solid with we sold it well over 150000 miles and only had to replace the alternator and belts an odd hose and some suspension parts. Really the last thing to go was the AC was leaking and we just didn't need three cars when the old girl had plenty of life left and was otherwise sitting outside. May still be on the road somewhere
