great car if you take care of it
I'm admittedly easy on cars when I drive, thus why I still have 265K miles on my original 1977 FB. The 1995 FB Formula is much better built and more reliable. Driving the speed limits I also receive about 3 MPG better than the sticker EPA ratings for those years. All my friends who've owned expensive foreign cars, supposedly so reliable, no longer have them, they've all broken down...so the bottom line is even these FBs will outlast the rest if proper maintenance and care is given. Spend the money when you need to for upkeep and enjoy the results. You'll beat all the odds from Consumer Reports who in 1978 called my 1977 a Lemon year car to avoid. Same goes for the 95 Formula
Satisfying Formula
I bought my Formula new when I was only twenty five years old. I was completely impressed then and continue to be to this day. The car has been extremely fun to drive. It was reasonably priced at the time of purchase. I still consider it a great performance bargain. I have been very satisfied with the car. It has been very reliable over the years. Maintenance costs have been very low. The only problem I had was a faulty headlight motor, but that was replaced under warranty and has been problem free since. The car is very durable and reliable. This car is a great buy for the money and has a fun factor of nine out of ten. I love it.

A Thank You to GMC
With just under 100k miles and 7 years of service, the only major repair to this vehicle has been a front wheel speed sensor with a cost of approximately $500 cost. Normal repairs has been, tires, battery, and serpentine belt. It's a shame that more buyer's weren't drawn to purchase this fine vehicle, since 2002 is it's last year due to poor sales. But recommend that any people interested in a sports vehicle of this type check out any replacement that GM may offer in the near future.
Can You Say Bye Bye?
I bought this almost 10yrs ago, and I'm still in love. The power, the performance and handling, you can not ask for better. It will blow the doors off on just about the road today. This car ain't a child's toy. Seats are great, but don't have a bad back. Hard to get out of.
1995 FireHawk
Purchased this for a fun summer car. 1 Owner Firehawk with all SLP options and 315 HP, 6 speed hurst along with the $1500 suspension option. Fast, Quick and currently less than 42000 miles. Keeping everything stock from now but hopefully this will be worth what I paid for it a few years down the road.
