Not enough Power
i have found the firbird to be a dissapointment, if you are looking for something that goes, buy a trans-am, pay the extra money, i wish i did.
1995 T/A Onvert.
Outstanding performance and reliability. Eats up front brakes regularly but absolutely no mechanical problems over the eight years of ownership.

Its Just Awsome!!!!
I brought this car earlier this year (used) and have already put in about 10,000 miles in about 4 months. This is a serious performance car and fun to drive.I have driven a lot of mustangs and camaro's but "the firebird" steals the show.....
Red T-Top
I love this car. It has excellent performance and is very comfortable to ride in the front seats. The back is a little cramped but not too bad. I haven't had any mechanical problems except the fuel pump went out at about 80,000 miles.
New Owner
I recently bought this car and it was exceptionally well kept cosmetically and poorly kept mechanically. I spent some time and money bringing it back from the dead, but it was well worth it. I now have a very sexy car that is both fun and easy to drive. The car handles very well, but the 160 HP 3.4 liter engine leaves the car notably underpowered, thought the 5-speed helps to make up for that a bit. The interior is well laid out and comfortable, though getting in and out can be a little awkward with the low profile. Exterior design flows nicely and really looks fast. All said; I really like it overall, but recommend the Formula if you want some power to go with the looks.
