Used 1991 Pontiac Firebird Hatchback Consumer Reviews
This is awsome car, i love it
The v6 is a downpoint but its an awsome looking car.
The one car I will never let go
I have the base model with the 5.0 five speed manual and the powertrain is amazing in its ability to last. I've owed this car for fifteen years and I will never get tired of it. I'm restoring it now at a very costly amount due to it sitting wal I was away but it's worth every penny in fun and a true America classic. The engine has about 150000 on it and not a leak which amazes me. Mechanically the car is bullet proof. If you want a fun car that is the car to have. I mite buy another one and start flipping them because everyone loves them.

91 formula. Im 36 and bought it when i was 20
I bought my 91 formula for $4500. It had 67k miles on it and was in perfect condition. I love my car so much. Ive had a 93 candle apple red acura legend and i have a 2013 camaro. But my 3rd gen is my fav car of all time. It Isnt the easiest to keep up since good mechanics are hard to find with the older engine. Ive blown a head gasket and had to replace feel like everything under the hood (twice) and im currently getting an engine rebuild after 119k miles. I plan on keeping it forever. Freshly painted and still looks amazing bunper to bumper

Stay away from this
I've heard of other folks loving their Birds and having zero problems. While it is an attractive car, it is somewhat of a reliability risk. And it don't help that the V6 is probably the weakest to come out of Detroit in a while, at least for this type of car. The V6 version only looks fast. I mean, come on, it has a legacy to maintain. I was young, though, when I got it and my dad thought it best that I didn't have a large V8. I don't have room enough to list all problems, but I'll say there were many.
