Aurora, Out of This World
This car is pure quality and comfort. Power back the sunroof, let the wind blow your hair, and let the 8 ponies propel you down the highway. The beautiful styling inside and out will keep amazing everyone including yourself every time we look at it. Wow, what a car!
Aurora From Heaven
No problems encountered with the vehicle at all. A joy to own and drive.

On The Right Track!
Bought used at a very good price. Very tight and gives you the feel of a sport luxury vehicle. Power is comparable to my old 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner with a 340 Magnum. Body style is distinctive and you won't see many on the road. Definately more individualized than the newer models.
I love my 1st gen Aurora
Have owned this 96 for less than a year. Its one of 5 cars that I own. I absolutely love it. I have never been someone who knows about or cares about cars before this car. I LOVE IT!!

Very decent car
this is a good overall car, the features which it has are very helpful on long trips ex. power moonroof, power heated seats, several function trip computer, very responsive 250hp engine, and my favourite option is probably my 8 speaker,12 disc cd player, it had excellent sound and bass. They used to race the aurora in the american LeMans series along with vipers and vettes and they actually used to same 4.0L engine except modified and a similar tranny, perhaps that is why i love my aurora so much. But if you don't like expensive repairs than this is not a car for you, my rad just cost me 1,030$!.
sport comfort
The 96 Aurora powerplant is reliable and powerful while obtaining good mileage on the highway, especially for a heavy car. The interior is very comfortable and holds up well. The only problems I have had are with the power seat, traction control and antilock breaks. The light is almost always on and the shop wants a small fortune to fix it. I like the car enough to spend the bucks to fix it and keep it.
best car
very good car compare to foreign cars by a long shot. gm did not do olds any good by killing them. we love the car.
Hate to Part with It
This is the best car I have ever owned. It is now at 260,000 miles and going strong. It has had no major repair issues, but has needed a head gasket for a couple of years. I can't see putting that much money into a 10 year old car, so I plan to trade it in. I would buy another if they still made them.
Aurora
Has been exceptional car with no problems. 100k+ still original spark plugs and computer still shows 18 mpg city. Excellent ride, comfort, and performance.
Aurora
Interior is very comfortable, soft leather seats and air suspension makes ride relaxing. On the high way, if driven on cruise set to 75mph, you will get better fuel economy (around 28mpg). Overall car is luxurious, a lots of toys, but watch out if something brakes get ready, not too many mechanics are ready to fix Aurora and vast majority of them will send you straight to a dealership. Major organs; engine and transmission are more reliable than in majority of American cars, but the problem is in electronics this part is the real headache.
