I've had my Sentra for about 10 months now. I enjoy its drive as well as its appearance. At first, I wasn't thrilled with the beige interior, but it has really grown on me. I've topped 40 mpg when on the highway when I'm not running the heat or the AC. The mpg is def better than my previous vehicles. The heated steering wheel, heated seats, sunroof and the automatic starter are all a big plus in my book. I'm not tall, about 5'5", and depending on how I position the front seat, I wish the seat had more leg room, particularly on longer drives. The cruise control helps with that, but I'm not a huge fan of using cruise control. I have already driven over 19,000 miles in the 10 months I've had it, so I give it a good amount of use. Overall, I am very satisfied with my Sentra.

Good fuel economy.

I had the pleasure of renting this car from Enterprise for a week and drove across the state. It gets good fuel economy. It also has lane guidance, will vibrate when you cross the lines and stop you when you're about to back into an object. Some features however go a little too far for me, the headlights will only go into full beams if the car wants. I have approached dark places and wanted to see further and it won't let you switch to high beams. I get it that it's a safety feature to avoid blinding others and it happens mostly in city driving but I am the driver, I should be the one to choose when and when not to use high beams. The seat belt warning sound is so annoying, will keep beeping non stop until you wear the belt, even if you stop the car, beeping when the car is not in motion and with a sound like that of a fire alarm is obnoxious. My personal car, a Hyundai sonata beeps with a more friendly tone and only when in motion. I also believe the Bluetooth connects even if you choose to disconnect it. I would disable the connections and instantly it reconnects itself, perhaps to encourage "hands free" driving but I feel it shouldn't make choices for me. I'm glad it was a rental because if I buy it I'd have to pull some fuses and make modifications.

I purchased my 2024 Nissan Sentra S in February 2025. Nissan was struggling for business so I got a great deal on the price. That being said, I was a little hesitant to buy a Nissan with their reputation. But I could not say no to the out the door price. So far I put 7900 miles on the car. I’ve had one engine mount fail but it was replaced under warranty. I’ve been fairly happy with this car, although the CVT transmission is jerky at 15mph to zero. It has the famous Nissan rattle that infects their Sentras and Versas. (nothing is wrong with the car, it just rattles upon acceleration). In freezing weather the interior makes strange thudding noises when going over bumps that aren’t there when it’s warm out. And lastly, when you put the vehicle from reverse to drive after backing up. The suspension makes a clapping noise that you can feel all the way through the gas pedal. I’m told by the dealer this is normal and that it’s just part of it being a cheaper car. Overall, I do enjoy driving my Nissan Sentra, especially the gas mileage 40.4mpg on average and the features for the money. Now, hopefully this CVT will last 175,000 miles with extra maintenance.
