nice
I just bought a new Platinum. I am optimistic, but have a lightbulb out after only a week. This is my fourth Pathfinder dating back to the ones with the triangle windows. My last was a 2005 and I had alot of problems with it. It was the first one I had that was made in the US...the others went 250k. The 05 only made it to 100k before the engine and tranny failed. Also electrical problems. This one is quiet and it it gets better mileage. I like the ride and toys. It doesn't feel like a truck as the others did, but will still tow more than I need. Will see what the miles bring. Only at a thousand, and like it more than the old models. Reliability? We'll see and I'll update my review over time.
Disappointed
Purchased in April, the car has been to the dealership 3 times for repairs (over 30 days in the shop and counting, it is there now). First visit was for a misaligned hood and pax airbag issue. Second was for same Pax airbag issue and CVT, currently in for a new transmission due to cvt issues (stuttering between 15 and 20 mph). We are invoking our state's lemon law to have Nissan buy back, we will see how that goes. Great looking car, quality is the worse I have ever seen in my 30 years of purchasing vehicles.
Just bought 2013 Pathfinder
I have been reading the latest reviews on the 2013 Pathfinder and find them a bit disappointing. I bought mine yesterday and have 25 miles on it. I hope and pray I DO NOT have transmissions problems! I have been through transmission issues with a 2002 Ford Explorer and they were never rectified. I fell in love with this car after driving the Infiniti JX. I have the fully loaded Platinum. We read the reviews prior to buying and were so worried that the dealer included the 7yrs, 100,000 miles coverage on the engine and transmission. I hope the issues are in the minority and do not show up with me. If they do I hope Nissan can rectify the problem and take care of their customers.
Car show pick 2013
Very happy with my SUV for hauling grandkids and friends. Love power lift gate, 2nd row heated seats. We got with tow package. Over all my hubby and I have both enjoyed our pick. Cons: road noise as it has got older, reverse camera not the best, and transition has to be computer reset at Dealer.

Comfort, power and convenience
I have owned my Pathfinder for four years and have enjoyed every minute of it. It's a well-built car with all the features I need to be comfortable. It has great seating and storage options to get my family where we want to go and haul all our stuff. The engine and transmission have worked flawlessly, and I like that Nissan extended the warranty to 10 years/120,000 miles. Overall it was a great decision.
