2024 Nissan Kicks Hatchback Consumer Reviews

Very slow.
We had almost 2 weeks with Nissan Kicks while traveling to Costa Rica. The car had about 2000 km or 1200 miles when we started our lease. It is a nice looking small front drive SUV with very underpowered engine that made traveling uphill difficult and boring. Sometimes the car needed such a long time to accelerate from 60 to 90 km an hour that even heavily loaded trucks we’re taking it over. Also the engine noise was very annoying and you always felt that this vehicle is quite underpowered. In the same time it was easy to park and maneuver. The front seats were ok, but not too comfortable after 2 hours in the car. The trunk spec was adequate and nicely shaped. The overall impression was that it is very mediocre vehicle not well suited for mountain roads and speedy roads.
WHY
I only had my Kicks a lil over a month now. I am not liking that when I go thru the car wash or it rains, I am having water in my door jams. I find it hard that this is normal. I have never had a car that when I opened my doors or hatch I had water in the door jams. And when open my back hatch water runs in the inside. So if I am carring something in the back that cannot get wet, I guess I am SOL. I was told by dealership it is normal. I'm afraid if I keep this for years I am going to have rust spot start with water laying in there every time it rains or I wash it. So my question is ,, Is this normal ?

My daughter's birthday present!
This car is a great value. For it's size it has an amazing amount of room and the seats are very comfortable. Great fuel mileage makes this car an excellent first vehicle or for anyone needing an economical set of wheels. The air conditioner is fabulous and the night time driving lights are excellent. A great value overall!

Packed with High Tech & Safety
I normally drive a f150, but found myself traveling more throughout the region for my job and needed some with great MPG. Well, I spent a great deal researching every model and kept coming back to the Nissan Kicks, since I was able to get a new car with a warranty for under $22,000, which included tax. All models come with high tech and high safety features that I would have spent thousands more with the same options. Although the Kicks is not a super fat car, especially with the CVT, but it takes me around town, through the hills and more with great MPG. Most importantly, I feel very safe and secure in a vehicle that actually rides very good for its size. I gave it 4 stars since the car is a tad new, but so far so good.
A small, large car with all the updates
This car replaced a 2005 Ford 500 that I used for getting around town and short trips. The car had 263, 000 miles on it. The Kicks has more room in the front then my 2020 Ram and my wifes 2022 Rave 4. I wanted all the safety including the blind spot monitoring which the Subaru Crosstrek did not have unless you went to the highest model. The only noticeable improvement is the tracking, which is noticeable from my Ram, but minimal. This is to be expected.
