2024 Nissan Kicks Hatchback Consumer Reviews

More positives than negatives.
I'll echo what a few others here have said in that the overall engine performance is actually pretty decent, especially for zipping around town. You're not going to win a drag race with the Kicks, but it's speedy enough. If you ease the gas pedal to get up to speed instead of stomping it, you'll get better response. The infotainment screen is easy to use on the S model I bought and the standard sound system has punchy bass and clear highs. Wish it had a mid range control, but the Kicks audio has plenty of kick! The suspension takes bad roads (which is most roads in PA) very well. Roads that felt very harsh in my Ford Escape seem much smoother in the Kicks. The downsides are the front seats being to stiff, primarily caused by the side wraps being to wide and protuding. A flater design would be better for those of us with wider backs. The rear seats are actually decent. The instrument panel is a bit bland and lacks a temperature gauge and for some reason the miles to empty gas reading stops once you get below 30 miles to empty, which is when you really need that info! None of the 3 models come with privacy glass, which means you'll have to do after market tinting if you want that. Overall, your view of the Kicks will likely be derermined by what vehicle you drove previously. If you're accustomed to something with alot of HP and/or a large interior, the Kicks likely won't be very pleasing. But for anyone else, this is a decent, inexpensive easy to drive little SUV with a good amount of cargo space. The 8 year 125 mile warranty that Nissan offers that covers just about everything is great for those of us who drive 15,000 miles a year or more.

Dam right I'de buy one of them !
We just rented a almost ew one out of Las Vegas. Drove over 1,000 miles. Fun to drive, handled great, enough power and very very easy on fuel. I've owned Honda Civics since 2005 but I would consider one of these too.

Kicks S model
I just got a 2024 Nissan Kicks S model and for someone that has had 3 back surgeries with rods, screws and a plate, it was more comfortable for me. It doesn't come with the remote start like the description says. The remote start is only on the SV models.
Hasn't started every morning
Just bought 2024 Nissan Kicks brand new off the dealership lot. Loved it the first evening I had it. However, hasn't started for the first hour or two every single morning I have had it and not in the shop. Dealership claims there is nothing, then said they could replicate it, then claimed that never happened, then remembered replicating but it wasn't a technician who replicated it not starting, and it only happened once. Supposedly. Help me
