Nissan dealers are discounting these now. Frontier was remodeled in 22MY (first sold in 21). Its competitors are all going to be newer in a few months. Dealers know they’ll have to be the bargain to sell. And it is! I paid several thousand less than every other comparable apples to apples midsize out there. And got a decent rate too (less than CPI). So it is now for sure the most affordable body on frame. It’s also a nice truck. Great to drive. Heavy old school steering’s feels real nice. Solid power train. Engine is powerful enough. Transmission is smooth. In 24MY I think it is also the smallest body on frame truck in width and length which comes in handy in tight spots. Tech is enough. It has Apple CarPlay. The latest and greatest safety features like emergency pedestrian braking. If you want your screen to take over the interior though this is not the truck. Downsides. MPG is avg 20 (manually calculated). I’d probably have gotten 22-23 in Ranger 2.3. Steering is a plus for me, others might not like it. It’s back to bring the old midsize in 24MY. So it’s not the cool kid anymore.

Underrated and very capable truck

I have a 2023 Pro 4x. I love the truck. I like its simplicity, hydraulic power steering that feels heavy but in a good way. Seats are comfy, the cabin is quiet and it has enough tech to keep it modern. The 3.8 V6 is quick enough for my needs, the 9 speed is smooth. I have added an oil catch can as the engine is direct injection. No telescopic steering wheel, rear seats are too upright, rear and side camera quality are just ok. All said, it is a great truck and enjoy everytime I drive it. Off road it is very capable and competent. The TSB bulletin update for the transmission sorted the harsh shifting.

Love my Frontier Pro 4x. The V6 has good power and acceleration. The gas mileage has been about 20MPG average. I love the looks of the truck and have had a few people say they like it as well. The interior is well laid out and the Fender stereo is very good, highly recommend. Wish it was a little bigger inside but it does fit easily in my garage.

The 2023 Nissan Pro-4x is the best mid size truck on the market. Provides a smooth ride yet rugged enough for off road adventures and full-size truck duties. Acceleration is exciting and the mpg is a class leading 25mpg,
