Its a 3 cylinder engine, stop comparing.

2024 Mitsubishi Mirage ES 4dr Hatchback (1.2L 3cyl CVT)

The construction of this car, was based on the following criteria: A Fuel Efficient Car... therefor, make the car light (remove some the things that make a car quiet), put a smaller engine (3 cylinder engine), make it affordable. Now if you want to spend a few thousand more dollars, save a little less on gas, get bigger speakers, maybe install a 4 cylinder engine, there are other vehicles that can fit your budget to the specs of your ideal car. This car isn't designed for performance (speed) or luxury. Its made for the person who wants a car that is reliable and gets them from point A to B (affordability). I don't understand why reviewers want say how bad this car is (because they are judging this based on criteria that this car wasn't designed for) can not see that people want a car they can afford.

I have always liked tiny, uncomplicated cars that are fun to drive. My Mirage ES isn't sporty or particularly quick, but it's roomy and comfortable. With a 5-speed manual, it'll get you there on time. It's cheap on gas. It replaced a 2017 Ford Fiesta and is a much more practical car.

2023 Mitsubishi Mirage black edition hatchback

2023 Mitsubishi Mirage Black Edition 4dr Hatchback (1.2L 3cyl CVT)

The 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage black edition hatchback is my first Mitsubishi car and it's been my favorite car to drive so far. The 40 miles per gallon combined city highway rating is literally the best you can find from any gas powered vehicle. The warranty offered is the best in the industry, 10 year powertrain 100,000 miles and 5 year 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, and 7 year corrosion. They also have a 5 year road side assistance with no mileage limit. The 3 cylinder engine can be more sluggish accelerating than compared to a common 4 cylinder car, but in my experience this is only noticable when going up steep hills. And even then, it's not a huge deal. The other thing to mention is that there is no driver's side armrest included in the mirage. However you can just take a few big beach towels, roll them up into cylinders, and squash them down between the driver's and passenger's seats and it works perfectly. The tires are smaller and cheaper to replace, and the oil changes should be cheaper as well since the engine is a 1.2 liter engine which is smaller than competing cars 4 cylinder engines which are usually around 1.6 liter. Overall the 2023 mirage is a great car and it's one of the few subcompacts still remaining on the market.
