I've had my mirage for roughly 6 months now and I've had absolutely no complaints. It gets the job done. The interior is nice and it is the perfect car for someone small like me, OR who just doesn't want a huge SUV. The average speed limit is typically 50 where I live so the speed isn't an issue. A car's only purpose isn't to go fast. I totally, wholeheartedly recommend a mirage! I only have to fill my tank like once a month!

2020 Mitsibishi Mirage

I bought this car new in 2020 and it's been just about perfect. I get 47mph on highway and the car has been mechanically sound. I have 28,000 on it and its needed nothing. Looks tiny but my Brother-in-law was shocked when he got in the car because he is 6'4 and he still had a few inches head room. We were laughing about it. A great little inexpensive car. Don't listen to the "so called experts."

The acceleration is not slow. It might not be a sports car from the 70s but it keeps up with traffic. Easy and sharp turns. It's safe with air bags and it's economical. Agreed that the steering wheel and some parts feel a little cheap but that's why the price is low

The construction of this car, was based on the following criteria: A Fuel Efficient Car... therefor, make the car light (remove some the things that make a car quiet), put a smaller engine (3 cylinder engine), make it affordable. Now if you want to spend a few thousand more dollars, save a little less on gas, get bigger speakers, maybe install a 4 cylinder engine, there are other vehicles that can fit your budget to the specs of your ideal car. This car isn't designed for performance (speed) or luxury. Its made for the person who wants a car that is reliable and gets them from point A to B (affordability). I don't understand why reviewers want say how bad this car is (because they are judging this based on criteria that this car wasn't designed for) can not see that people want a car they can afford.
