Used 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Consumer Reviews
Spyder Mania
I've had my Spyder now for almost 3 yrs. I've had absolutely no problems with it mechanically and with 34,000 miles, the tires still have a decent tread. It is an amazingly fun car to drive, especially in the summer w/the top down. The V6 is quite peppy...especially with the sporttronic shifting. Basically, I bought the car strictly for the looks. I have the tan top and interior so it's not that hot in the summer. Plus, it handles well in the snow.
So far so good
Car rides very nice. This being my first convertible, it is a lot of fun. Top goes down quick and easily.

My Spyder
The car can be fun to drive, but u- turning is a nightmare. If you ever have to make a tight turn into a parking spot or at an intersection, you're not going to make it without backing up. Also...the visual with the spoiler in the rear window (which is already small) is very limited; poor interior lighting; Boot is a show item
2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder may not have the best performance, or be the coolest convertable, but I love it!
