Well balanced car
No car is perfect universally because we have different needs. I have a 2018 model and just bought a 2021 for my wife. We have 2 almost identical cars because GLC300 fits our needs perfectly. I’m 6’ and have a kid 5’8”, another kid in a huge car seat, and GLC300 has enough room for our family of four. It’s fast enough for merging and taking over on highway and nimble on local roads, and if you’re not in a hurry it easily return gas mileage over 25 mpg and over 30 on highways. Some people also say their other brand cars are fast and nimble, what I mean here is a level above. I had a GLK 350 for 6 years and had no problems of any sort, and my 2018 GLC trouble free, too. So I would like to say GLC and its predecessor GLK are reliable. I researched almost every mainstream brand before invested in 2 GLCs, and found that 1) Toyotas are having 8-speed transmission problems and Hondas infotainment system problems and Subarus braking failures and GLCs and predecessor GLKs no big complaints and are not “money pit”. 2) outdoor price is MSRP, don’t over pay. If other brands carry equivalent equipments as GLC, they are most likely at the same price or even more. Buy prepaid maintenance and that will bring down the maintenance cost to $500/10k miles. You’re driving a luxury compact so it’s acceptable even it costs at most $300 more that a Toyota every 10k miles and GLC IS luxurious.

2021 not as good as the 2018!
We have been driving MBs (E, C, SL, GLK, and GLC) since 1986, and always have been happy with our purchases. Looking at all the changes coming up in new cars, we didn't purchase in 2018, we leased a 2018 GLC for 3 years. We loved the car so much that we decided to lease the 2021 when the old lease expired. I don't know if it is because of the pandemic, chip shortage, or what, but this car is - to us - not as good as the 2018! Both cars were ordered with the AMG night package, specifically to get the oversize cross drilled front disk brakes - never cared about the plastic body trim modifications. The 2021 was advertised in the official order form we filled out at the dealership as having these brakes as part of the night package. Surprise - despite still being advertised at the dealership as having these oversize rotors and calipers, the 2021 came with the standard brakes. ALL the 2021 AMG/Night Packages for 2021 that we saw at the dealership dropped the oversize brakes, but kept the price as if they were included. Bait and switch - if your order form says something is included in the price, it should be there. Of course, the car arrived just as the lease ended on the 2018, so it was shut up and take it, or refuse it and pay $500 at the lease end on the 2018 for not leasing a new one. And MBUSA Leasing was a discourteous mess. After we had the new car, the kept calling us and saying we had missed the final payment on the 2018, had not turned in the car, and threatened our credit rating - despite our offering to send them copies of the paper work showing the turn-in date at the dealership and having made the first lease payment on the 2021!!! We had to threaten legal action if they messed up our credit rating before they would listen - It took a week to straighten out, with no apology or anything from MB Financial. And the surprises kept coming: The rear cargo area floor in 2018 was carpeted fiberglass(?) with a hold open hook and strap, and a foam insulation pad on the bottom, apparently to cut down noise. On the 2021 the strap, hook, and foam pad are missing - on ours, and on all the ones we looked at in dealerships. The 2018 had seat back release buttons on the rear door openings as well as in the cargo area - for 2021 they are missing from the door openings, replaced with a cheap plastic plug that does nothing. And the fuel economy is about 1-2 miles per gallon WORSE on the 2021 than on the 2018, for both hiway and city driving! If you never owned a 2018 GLC, you will love the 2021. If you did, you are going to notice the missing conveniences and essentials - at a higher cost. We ordered the 2021 with the Bermester stereo, and that has been a delight. We also ordered the front window noise insulation, and that seems to cut wind noise on the car. The 2021 seems to ride a bit smoother on all suspension settings than the 2018, maybe they changed tire brands? All told, we still like the car - just not as much as the 2018. But given the treatment by MBUSA financial, and the $2000+ AMG night package rip off in describing something on their order sheet that they never provided, after 35 + years of driving MBs, when this lease ends, so will our relationship with Mercedes.

Luxury is in the details
I’ve been spoiled by the smooth ride and responsive handling of this SUV. Having previously owned a 4Runner I can confidently say this Mercedes Benz GLC 300 4Matic exceeds in delivering a superb driving experience. The cargo area of the MB is a bit smaller than the former but is adequate for most of my needs. The interior is well appointed, the 4 cylinder turbo engine delivers exceptional speed and responsiveness, and the dealership customer service is astounding. I’m definitely happy with the vehicle.

Quality throughout
The seats are the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. My wife and I shopped for comfortable seats due to the amount of miles we put on a vehicle. We’ve owned Honda’s, Toyota’s, Chevrolet, Buick, Ford and BMWs. None compare to this amazing vehicle. The tech is also off the hook. It’s the most technologically advanced car ever and the power is amazing. I can’t wait to drive it again.

2021 GLC 300 is a great suv but...
I just bought a 2021 GLC 300. Was told that due to lack of chips, the car did not have the MB navigation so I would have to use my Apple CarPlay with navigation. This means I have to plug my iphone into the port each and every time I get in and out of the car. The graphics are not as good as what I have seen from MB. Also, lacking many of the voice commands through Hey Mercedes again due to the chip shortage. All in all, the car rides beautifully and the seats are very comfortable. The engive seems a little loud but noise is minimal.

The GLC Experience
Cons: Transmission can be a bit lackadaisical in Comfort mode. Build quality inside could be better. I have some squeaks, creaks, and rubbing sounds and I only have 10k miles on it. Run-Flats - mess with ride quality Seats - I prefer the sportier seats that come with the AMG trim (had a C 300 with AMG trim so I’m aware of the difference) Pros: Looks, very nice interior Seats - I know, I know, but they are still fairly comfortable Tech, safety systems work very well, love the augmented reality navigation Sport & Sport + modes liven up the drive. HANDLING!!! This thing handles very well. Steering is very precise. Feels solid and planted. I’ve never been an SUV fan due to the uneasy feeling of the ride height in turns. I know they don’t roll as easy as they used to. However, I feel very confident driving this thing in turns. I would definitely consider another one when it’s time.

Beautiful inside and out
This car is beautiful inside and out. The grill of this vehicle plus the 20 inch tires along with the black and silver rims give this vehicle a very sporty look. These were extra and not all these vehicles have that. The inside has a beautiful black leather interior. It has a sun roof for those nice sunny days. The seats have seat warmers for the cold ones! It has a feature for those long distance drives at night where high and low beams change automatically. You can change the lighting inside depending what mood you are in or want to be in. You can ask Mercedes to change the temp, change the station, call a loved one, etc. This vehicle drives like a dream, even through bad weather!
GLC 300
The car has loud wind noise when driving. Drives great but loud.

Best choice I ever made
Before I retired I researched SUV’s for two years. I absolutely love my GLC 43. An amazing vehicle. I would even do a commercial if Mercedes asked me. Styling, performance, safety, and technology are first rate.

GREAT SUV/CAR..!!!
This is a great SUV. Very comfortable. Handles great. Good visibility all around. Good storage and room for luggage when travelling. Back seat is somewhat cramped for adults. Gas mileage is good (18-23+ mpg) but the engine requires premium fuel. Overall I am very happy with this SUV and glad I bought it.

So far so good
It has the appearance of an SUV but it’s not really that spacious if you compare it with let’s say Lexus RX 330 which I had previously. However, I love it because it’s not so big to drive around especially I’m always alone in my car. The interior is fantastic. Mileage is better than my previous car.
Nice SUV
Don’t try to turn it into a sports car. Base 18” wheels and it rides like a Mercedes should and is the quietest cabin. Interior quality is nice and sound from the Sennheiser stereo is awesome

Stick to the basics
The car itself is good. Good mechanically, and good quality. The driver assist functions are poor to downright dangerous - I’ve ended up turning most of them off where possible. The navigation has some cool features, but the maps behind them are not very accurate, and updating them is hard (not possible for me so far). The voice recognition is a joke - it doesn’t even recognize the word cancel.

We call it zippy.
We purchased this car to satisfy our need to zip around town delivering kids to sporting events, clubs and other activities. We still wanted style and a smooth Mercedes ride without the big car. We used to believe we needed a huge SUV to make that happen but it simply isn't the case. We easily fit all of their sporting equipment into the back and running around is so much easier and more fun in a slightly smaller car. Feels like it will be a great Colorado ski car this winter too.

Nice vehicle features however noisy 4 cylinder eng
Great features but hear engine noise at cruising speed. Seats not comfortable. Overpriced!!
Go for Mercedes-Benz
I found really what meet my expectation, take decision today and Go for it!
EXCEEDINGLY DISAPPOINTING
Unless you have your heart set on a vehicle with the MB name, you should look elsewhere for comparable or better technology and fuel economy at a much lower price. Touchscreen is difficult and finnicky to operate. Plastic used on various external components such as side mirror housings, brake lights, etc seems very thin and flimsy. Fuel economy is disappointing. Brakes often squeal when wet. Lacking practical feature of hands-free liftgate as a standard feature. Very sorry that mine didn't come with that from factory; told could not be installed aftermarket; only would have cost $100 from factory; yet they charge $500 for a superfluous lighted MB front grill star insignia! Vehicle is more show than substance. Vehicle is being leased. After only 4 months, can't wait for lease to end!

Surprising handling
First off, this is a small car. Not tiny, probably not good for a family of 4, but good for 2. Very adjustable seats, but not as comfortable as my Murano. Pretty quiet for a 4-banger. The biggest surprise was the handling, this thing really squats down in the corners and gives you a really confident feeling. A bit cramped up front, it has good cupholders but when they're in use there's no room for phones. Only one USB. Nearly worthless touchpad, but there are plenty of other ways to control the vehicle. The voice control system works pretty well.

GLC 43 AMG. transmission is bad
I test drove it yesterday. When I accelerated up a ramp to 80 mph then let go of the gas to coast, weird why it took a while before the rpm dropped. Hard acceleration 0-30 mph but it couldn't figure out which gear to be in. Turbo lag under hard acceleration.

2021 amg43 glc
Hard riding vehicle even in comfort mode, transmission shifts hard and lurches, cruise control randomly stops working when on highway (safety issue), high depreciation, similar to a Maserati, car doesn’t always start in cold weather, been towed 3 times and battery replaced. Still under new car warranty and Mercedes can’t figure out issue. Less than 30,000 miles. Not a sport luxury just a bad vehicle.

Very nice, little luxurious SUV
I've only had my car for half a year, but so far, I love this car! I bought my 2021 Mercedes GLC in April and was immediately impressed with the quality of this car. I had to take a minute to admire this car before driving it. It came with such cool features. The interior ambient lighting is such a nice touch and the emblem lights up at night! That I didn't expect, so cool. The interior is a high-quality place to be. The overall interior ambiance is amazing. The panels line up correctly, the materials feel class-appropriate and the sound system is one of the best I've ever had in a car. I have the Burmester sound system and it is worth every penny. I always look forward to every trip I take in my vehicle. The GLC is a delightful car to drive and be in. It's an awesome car to be in. Solid, quiet, and confident.
