The 2024 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter is a full-size cargo van available only in a 170-inch long-wheelbase body style with a high cargo roof. More variations will be available for the 2025 model year, but for now, this sole configuration choice is exclusively paired with a 113-kWh battery pack and a rear electric motor. The standard-output version develops 134 horsepower, while the high-output option churns out 201 hp. Both produce a maximum of 295 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is not available on the eSprinter.
Which eSprinter trim does Edmunds recommend?
Unlike other Mercedes vehicles — which can offer a seemingly endless number of combinations and configurations — the 2024 eSprinter is only offered in one version: a 170-inch-wheelbase cargo van with a high roof. That said, you can spec a high-output electric motor, and we recommend that. (The standard 134-horsepower motor is unlikely to move this big, heavy van with any haste.) In terms of options, we would recommend the Drive Assist package. It's pricey, but the blind-spot warning system, parking assistance systems and digital rearview mirror are very helpful in such an enormous vehicle with minimal rear visibility.
