I bought a black '07 e350, and it's wonderful. It has the sport package and only 21,055 miles on it! It was a lease, but i gotta say, that I will from now on, most likely buy Mercedes. The only "problem" that we've experienced, was the transmission ECU got a glitch, because i was shifting with Touch Shift while in comfort mode for an extended period of time, and i freaked out the tranny, so it went into limp home mode. i put the car in park, turned it off, and started it up again, and it reset itself, and everything has been fine since then. It is a wonderful car, and anyone looking to buy, should get one!

The engine and transmission are fantastic. The power is smooth, ample and desceptive. The car is so quiet you don't realize how fast you are going untill you look at the speedo. The ride is smooth as silk but a bit detached. BMW550 handles way better but the interior was too plastic and cheap looking for $70K. You also have to deal with the idrive. This is luxury with muscle.

Having previously driven various BMW and MB models over the past 20+ years, my 2008 Bluetec is the best yet. The astounding torque has to be experienced to be believed. Passing performance is rocket-like. Trips to gas stations have become far fewer. All of the wonderful features of the E Class are combined with the superb V6 diesel. Why would anyone looking to buy an new E Class (or a similar luxury sedan) not consider the amazing E320 Bluetec ?? If V8 power combined with 4 cylinder fuel economy doesn't make sense, then what does ?

I love cars and the Bluetec is fun to own. Diesel power is amazing, liked the pull/torque better than the 350 gasser. Smooth and quiet. Not a handling machine, but this is a lux cruiser, not a sports car. 7-speed trans is great with the diesel's short power band, but it's a little jerky when cold. Smaller brakes than the 350 with larger wheels, but same tested stopping distance. Styling is subdued and refined, so I'll like how it looks for the long haul. HK sound system is really good. Nav works well, updates quickly, but a pain to enter addresses.

Scary Fast and Barely Sips Fuel

Cars don't get much faster and more fuel efficient than this BlueTec diesel car. There are almost 400 foot pounds of torque and almost 40 miles per gallon. Why buy a Lexus or Toyota or BMW when you will be slower, and consuming more fuel. Plus, the other cars' value will drop like a rock in a few years. I am pleased, very pleased with the MB E320 BlueTec. This is epitome of engineering and pizzazz!

I purchased my 2007 E-Class almost 10 years ago. I am the second owner. I have had almost no trouble as I'm fanatical about having all the routine maintenance performed on time and on schedule. Many people think my vehicle is a new car. My service company does everything according to Mercedes dealer standards. His only concern before I bought it was the month it was manufactured in Germany. Vehicles produced in the first six months had transmission problems, but those produced after May of 2007 were fine. Mine was produced in October, so he told me to buy it after everything else checked out on the vehicle. One of the best two vehicles I have ever owned. Check the month of manufacture and you will be fine.

I bought my CPO 2007 E350 just a couple of weeks ago. This makes my 7th Mercedes-Benz. I currently also own a 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK350. This car is just amazing! It is quiet, fast, sleek and so comfortable. Mine is black on black with the Sport Package and Premium 1 package. In a word, the car is stunning! My previous MB's have included another E class, two S classes, an SL and a C class. This E is just perfect...not too big and not too small. I can't wait to take it on a long trip. The build quality and workmanship is terrific and I feel confident driving it and very well protected.

So far this car is so much fun. It seems to have tremendous accelerating power and it drives like a dream. It has the sport package and the Conti tires, but it still drives very quietly and feels like total luxury. I just came out of a truck so maybe I just don't notice what the other reviewers are talking about. I chose all black with black birdseye, with premium I, and this car is HOT! So far it's great but I don't have a grip on the mpg yet. So far it's reading 21 on the display and I've been doing mixed driving. Hopefully I will see 25+ on the hwy like others have said. I almost went with another brand, glad I chose the E-class Mercedes. Looking forward to seeing the all new 2010.

I bought this car with some mileage but still under warranty. So far I have enjoyed it quite a lot. I previously drove Mazda RX8, which was like a gokart, but grew out of it and bought a used MB. I get around 23MPG mixed with 60-70% highway, which is an improvement over my RX8. The car is great, although handling is not as sharp as I am used to, much more on a luxury side, but still chassis is tuned nicely and wants to deliver. I wish ESP could be completely turned off, but I did manage to spin it. Acceleration is more than enough and transmission works very smoothly. Sound system is phenomenal. Love the car and can't get enough driving it. It should have a bluetooth. BT cradle is available.

This car replaced my 2000 E430. Much more power, with a much sportier feel. Got the sport package which is a free option this year. Tremendous exterior finish. The old car drove like a golf cart with immediate response and acceleration. The new one provides extraordinary power without realizing it due to the lack of jerks forward or acceleration kicks. Interior controls take a bit of instruction, but all are aimed to make sure the driver is comfortable. I have one in black and white exactly as pictured. Beautiful car with no performance disappointments. Highly recommend the voice control to bypass complex controls.

After over a year of researching, test driving and contemplating, finally chose a CPO MB to replace my older '98 MB E320. Compared Lexus ES350, GS350, A6, Acura TL, RL, Infiniti M35, G35 None of those vehicles came close to matching the REFINEMENT of even my old E320! Love the balance of luxury and sport, plus beautiful lines. Sound system is fantastic, Command is intuitive. 4-wheel has come in handy already.

The suspension is supple and the ride is very quiet. The drive isn't exactly fun but it is engaging with solid feel and feedback. The exterior is elegant and gets nothing but compliments. However, the interior lacks the same prestige feel and the electronics are prone to failure. The electronics that do not break, are hard to use and annoying by design (navigation for example). So far we've replaced or repaired steering knuckle, rear sunshade, panoramic sunroof, windscreen seal, and other interior (except for knuckle) parts. Do not buy this car without extended warranty if you plan to keep it past 50K. I personally expected a bit more reliability from MB.

I was in the market for a sporty sedan and I had mixed emotions about the M5 vs. E63 and I am positive I made the right decision on picking the E63. The overall performance of the newly redesigned AMG motor really presses you up against your seat. When have 507hp under the hood with 465ft-lbs of torque trusting you past the guy next to you its fun to see their face when they catch up at the next red light.

So far had the car for a month. I'm very happy and satisfied with it so far... this special edition came with lots of extras! got it with 115K and it runs great. Well kept inside and out. Purchased the extended 24 month warranty just in case. The Karman Harmond stereo is amazing. I don't have to do much driving on a daily basis but find myself wishing I did just to enjoy more time behind the wheel. it has been a year now and I still feel the same about my car. It is amazing! I love it! no issues, runs great.

Update on Mecedes E-320 BLUETECH

I recently submitted a review of my new 2007 Bluetech. In this review I stated the problems I was having with the 7 speed transmission. I am happy to tell you that Mercedes has installed new software to eliminate this jerky shifting problem. My local dealer and Mercedes in Germany was involved in this process. It has been a week now since the update and the transmission is now shifting as smooth as silk. In fact, the transmission is shifting much more positive throughout the entire speed range. I think Mecedes and my dealer has done a great job solving this shifting problem and eliminating it. The entire process took about one hour. I thought you like to hear the good news.

I leased my E350 because of a deal that I could not pass up. My previous car was a 2000 BMW 528 w/ sport package. My E350 includes the Nav system, Sirius radio, and rear shade screen, but no sport suspension. Overall, I like the car. I never thought I would own a Mercedes. The car rides very nice on the road, but you get a floating feeling if you try to push the handling through turns. Power is more than ample and it gets relatively good gas mileage. I have got a supension squeak that occurs every time I get in the car when the car is cold. The dealer cannot seem to find, but I will give them another try. When this lease is up I will go back to a 530 BMW for better handling.

I bought an E-350 in May 09. It is really an enjoyable vehicle to drive. I have owned Acura's and Volvo's in the past. None of these compare to the E-350 in terms of build and ride quality. The Acura might be better in the performance area though. But, This is a much better quality car. I have not have any maintenance issue with this car. The service is top notch but costly. I would definitely buy another Benz.

I love the horsepower and the mileage. The car flies and I get over 28 MPG on the highway and 22 MPG overall. Mine did have a cylinder head replaced at 2500 miles but it has run great ever sense. The hood does not line up perfectly which is not something I expected from MBZ. This is my fourth Mercedes but it will probably be my last because of the navigation system. The GPS is the worst product I have ever purchased and I am very familiar with GPS systems. After two years of trying, I give up. It simply does not work. It proposes ridiculous routes, is difficult to use, shows irrelevant points and leaves off significant towns, even on interstates. I wish there was a fix for it.

I bought a 2007 E350 with 50,195 miles on it. At 59,000 miles the check engine light came on. Found out the car needed a new manafold because of some small plastic movement flap broke. Also, needed to purchase a Valvle Body Assembly for the transmission. Cost $2,800 dollars. Found out the Engine Light came on at 50,195 miles and a dealer told me that is why they traded the car. He stated any thing over 50,000 miles is out of warranty. I exspected more from Mercedes. It is a simular reason I stoped buying BMW's 30 years ago.

Have owned E550 for 2 weeks. In shop for last three days. Voice command inoperable ,drivers side airbag inoperable, rattle in dash. Dealer followed MB bulletin, did not correct rattle. Quality still a question after all the QA/QC conferences held by MB. Leased vehicle based on a complete makeover per MB and the deletion of the Bosh electric brakes which cost MB dearly in warranty costs. Wife likes style of car which is better than a 550i BMW. However the adjustable air suspension is not calibrated correctly. Neither the soft, normal, or hard setting provide a satisfying ride. BMW still a better ride and a true drivers car. Sold one of the last 2001 BMW 740i sports to do deal, I hope this was not a big mistake.

Car now has 10,000 miles. Has been at the shop 5 times. 3 check engine lights. I get same brake problem that everyone else has a problem with. Engine knocks and was told this is my problem due to California does not sell 93 octane gas. Rough starting in the morning. I have contact the dealer manager he tells me don't bother until the car has 12,000 miles. Mercedes direct says you have to get these issues resolved with the dealer. Has spent a total of 28 days at the dealer. Buy a M5.

I'm the second owner of this amazing e550, let me say it's a head turner. However after months after buying the car I started to notice a "malfunction" light indicating a car with a lift symbol. Never thought much seeing how it came on and went away. After a few weeks it started to come on daily. I then noticed the car dropped about an inch!! The airmatic was broken!! The rear was on the ground! I brought it to Mercedes they told me over 3800.00 to repair the rear airbags and compressor!!! What a joke. Who builds a car on air suspension?!?!? It will always fail. Mercedes needs to recall this! Beware buyers. After 40k you will have to replace this! Go buy a c class you'll be better off.....

I have had the E350 Sport in Flint Grey for almost 3 months and it has been a great drive so far. I had a C230K which by far was a fun car to drive but this E is so grown up. The drive with the new 7 speed is like butter you barely feel the gear changes and when you want to push to the next level it has no problems going full force into the corners. I just had it in for my 1000 mile no cost check up and all was good. It is a smooth and quiet drive as well.

Test drove many luxury vehicles before deciding on the E350. Great offerings from other manufacturers. Electronics not as reliable as Japanese models, but only BMW felt as solid and refined. By far the best E-class to date. Very smooth with very little noise intrusion. Good accelleration, solid handling & strong, consistent braking. Relatively conservative styling, but still an attention magnet. The no-cost Sport pkg gives the styling a bit more edge, but still classy. Navigation isn't 3D and you can't type in the name or # of a business you wish to travel to, but otherwise, no complaints. Harmon Kardon sound system is great for most listeners and is far beyond earlier Bose systems.

Coming from an '06 330i. This car is feels like it's built like a tank. It has such a heavy feeling my wife feels really secure with. I think it feels too heavy, and a bit too soft, but not like a Lexus at least. You can feel the road below you, just with a filter whereas the BMW lets you feel everything. The engine is quite good, lots of torque in low RPMs. Fuel economy is not as good as a BMW, but respectable. Dealer installed Continental ContiSport3 tires. Wish they used something else -- they are really loud. And the navigation really is terrible -- only can direct you to a number range on any given street. Welcome to the 21st century, Mercedes!!

I am a former auto dealer and have owned many vehicles. Shortly after buying this used E350 in Dec 08 - replaced Contis with Michelin Pilot Sports - huge improvement - but don't buy them at the dealership unless money is no object. The E350 Sport handles and performs very well, IMO, for a full-sized sedan. Gas mileage is consistently mid 20's in combined driving.

This is the worst Mercedes Benz I have ever owned and will never buy again! Unless you are mega rich do not buy this type car. Not only have I had to replace the AC/Heater blower and brakes belt I had to replace ALL RIMS because they kept bending. The tires I have had to replace every 6mo to 1 yr.because of the low profile and different size tires on front and back so you cannot switch them around.Just absolutely ridiculous!!!!

I am 22 and have had two Jaguars and loved them. I wanted something different and tried the Mercedes. I was very reluctant because I have read so many horror stories about Mercedes reliability but the more refined 07 has been perfect. It is quite, safe, luxurious, sporty, wow list goes on and on it is truly an amazing car.

Best in its class. A dream to drive. Go test drive one and you'll see. I had a C280 before this one, but the E350 is worth the extra cash. A must have.

I've owned a BMW, a Lexus, a Corvette, two Subaru's, and two prior Mercedes. The Bluetec gets the ribbon. It has a tight, solid, heavy and luxurious feel, but the torquey motor gives it plenty of punch. I feel safe in this car, even at high speed. It has air bags everywhere, and the TeleAid system (similar to OnStar). It has a tight turning radius and is no problem to park. Visibility all around is excellent. And it is not ostentatious to the point that vandals want to mess with it. The automatic tranny does have the annoying and well-known habit of "hunting" between 1st and 2nd briefly when starting out, but I've learned to ignore it! My friend's Audi had the same problem. No biggie to me.

E350 sport with Pk #2 one of several MBs I've owned. Always good quality, never the zippiest ride, but totally reliable and comfortable. MPG 20 town, 27 hwy. good for this size and weight. It's like my dog, always there, and always reliable and friendly 26K miles and in shop only 2x and that was for routine maintenance.

Break dust is too excessive. Windows need to be tinted somewhat. Side mirrors should automaticaly close when car is turned off considering the cost of the car. Back seat is too small. Although there are 3 headrests it really is not comfortable for 3 adults. Headrest adjustments on the passenger seat fails to perform

My first Mercedes and I'm very impressed. Test drove a 2006 E320 CDI last year and the difference between the 2006 and the 2007 model is substantial. The 2007 is much more quiet both inside and out. The torque produced by this engine is amazing. Considered a Lexus GS but this Mercedes just presented a more luxurious profile to me. The dealer I purchased from also installed the 18" 10-twin-spoke rims which really made this car stand out.

This is an excellent all round vehicle. I opted to upgrade the wheel package to 10 twin spoke alloys - why these are not offered as standard as they are on the E350 surprises me

My first E is everything I expected, pure luxury and performance. I waited eleven yrs to finally buy one. I test drove the new BMW 2008 535xi, very nice car, fast no turbo lag but felt large and heavy. The E350 was not as quick off the line but if you want luxury with performance this is the car for this price range. I got the sports package with dual tail pipes, larger tire. Looks very sharp, plus no cost for the upgrade. The cabin was very quiet. Love the sports looks! This is a keeper!

This is my first E as well, and I absolutely love this car. It has plenty of room but handles like a smaller car, and the interior and exterior design are perfect. Highway mileage is terrific, but stop and go city mileage is not so terrific, but acceptable. This is an all around great car.

This is my first MB and I bought it for reliability, economy and style and it has not let me down. Economy is amazing. I get 26 mpg in town and 28- 30 mpg on my 55 mile commute (at 80- 90mph!). Passing is effortless and silent, it really has quite a good mid- range punch. The 580 mile range is also great, a lot less time is spent at the pump. A 13,000 mile service interval is also a time saver. You can hardly tell that it is a diesel at all. The motor only rattles at low rpm, low speed with the window down. I've had just one issue, a buzzing speaker which was fixed under warranty. One small gripe is turbo lag, but you learn to drive around it. Buy one!

When I first bought this car I am very happy with my purchase! If you are in the market for a used Mercedes-Benz the E-Class is a very good choice! I really like the styling of the E-class and all of the features that it has to offer! The only thing that I have to complain about is the Navigation system. It is very confusing at first but then you get used to it. This is now my second car and the way this car drive is unbelievable! So very smooth! I try to drive it every chance I get! I have had a: CHECK ENGINE light come on, but then it went away. No problems whatsoever. I highly recommend this vehicle! Thank you, Mercedes-Benz!

Arctic White with P1 package (18" wheels, Sirius, heated seats, etc,). I was originally looking at a brand new C300 4MATIC but was disappointed that the C350 did not have an all wheel drive option. My other car is an '02 WRX and I was not looking to buy a naturally aspirated and less inspiring performer, which I found to be the case after driving the C. I picked up this beauty, fully loaded with the remainder of the original warranty, plus 100,000 miles that comes with the CPO status. This vehicle is absolutely stunning. I am very pleased with the acceleration and handling and am glad I did not choose to compromise with the C. Gas mileage, MB- E350>MB-C300>Subaru WRX. Love it!
