Used 2001 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Consumer Reviews
HIgh Mileage Review - Buyer Beware
I'm starting the seventh year of ownership of my E-class. So far I've replaced: Front passenger seat belt buckle Both catalytic converters Front wheel bushings Instrument panel Rear Shocks Steering wheel switches Three audio speakers Both sun visors Car has 210K miles, I feel too much has gone wrong with the car for it being a MB. I also have an undiagnosed mystery noise in the back seat. Front end vibrates at high speed.

It also doesn't straighten out by itself after a turn and you have to help it by steering it back. On the highway I found a sudden gust of wind or even passing a large truck can cause the car to swerve and in one instance almost move me out of the lane I was in. Is this normal?? None of the cars I was following swerved as much.

This is my 21st MBZ. It has been super reliable. My servicing dealer, MBZ of El Dorado Hills, CA has been absolutely fantastic. When it came close to 50,000, the end of the warranty, they went through the car thoroughly and replace any component that they felt would present an issue, including the transmission. I am now at 58,000 and they have continued to take care of anything that has fai
