Our Miracle Mercedes
I bought this car with only 6k original miles in 2018 from an MB dealer that had been storing it for years. I still don't know why. I paid about what a used Accord V6 would cost. 33k miles later it still looks and drives as new. I hate SUVs and went from a BMW 5 series to this car which is nice and compact. It's got the sport trim but I replaced the sport grille with a traditional one evoking the original AMG Hammers. The fat low profile tires are a bit harsh but it rides beautifully on the highway and handles well on tight roads. It also has a surprising amount of power and MPG close to 30 is possible on highway trips. Brakes are excellent. Everything is well put together and handsome. It's been perfectly reliable except for a leak in the windshield washer fluid tank. There is no turbo, just a responsive, smooth high revving naturally aspirated engine. Likely the last of its kind. The only nit is the steering. It is very quick, light, and "sporty." The ratio is not variable so it feels jumpy just off center. I have to concentrate on keeping my hands very quiet. Optional Bose stereo is excellent, but being one generation too old, the entertainment system doesn't have Android Auto, etc. It does have a small video screen which with an aftermarket add-on (and some work) can be converted to fully smart phone compatible. https://www.amazon.com/Road-Top-Wireless-2011-2014-Functions/dp/B087Q67C4L/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 Very pleased and lucky. Will likely drive it into the ground which at this rate will take a while.

Incredible value for a zippy luxury sedan
Bought my car used with 30k mikes. Car was loaded to the hilt, amg package, every option...usually means more things can go wrong, but I’ve done brakes and oil and the car has been a dream to own. Insurance was cheap and it has eco boost- very economic to keep up with and drive. The luxury package on the interior is nicer and it’s a luxurious, zippy, fun to drive car. The sport package on mine gives it a bit of a lower profile which translates imho to a sleeker, more elegant, profile. Use it as a commuter. Very, very, pleased. Going to purchase another MB based on our experiences owning this vehicle.

Excellent All Around Luxury Car
This is a great value for a luxury car. It rides smooth and has all the creature comforts one needs. Could use a little more oomph re: power. Bottom line it’s a great car.

Worst car I’ve ever owned
Bought vehicle new for my wife two months after purchasing the ECM went out. Now five year in, the vehicle has always been serviced at Mercedes and has just over 100k and transmission cooling leaked coolant into transmission fluid delaminating the plates. I have three different quotes and Parts alone over 7k, around 10k to repair a 9k car its a total loss. And being sold for 2k as parts car. Needless to say it’s the last Mercedes I’ll will ever own!
