Acceleration
I love my millenia. However, shifting could be smoother and needs quicker acceleration for passing at lower speeds.
A Driver's Car
The Millenia S drives uncommonly well. I consider it a luxury sports sedan. The driver sits low in the car in a firm comfortable leather seat. The view over the low hood line is virtually unobstructed. The car accelerates willingly and its taught suspension and wide low profile tires on oversized rims give excellent traction, enabling the driver to take substantial liberties with speed limits in turns. The car has a nimble and solid feel to it.
Once in a milennia
Few cars offer such dynamics as the milleniaS while being able to stealthily go by as widely unnoticed>an "ace int he hole" car this is. The boggling fact about its unsung praise is that it has one of new millenium's most honored and revered power plants (miller-cycle engine)! As a matter of fact, I knew nothing of the car until 1998 When I first saw it,being the car fanatic that I am, I was astounded at it's beaty and ,thus began my love affair with Mazda!
2000 Mazda Millenia Premium
There are only two deficiencies in this car: A luxuray car should have more power, although the Millenia has plenty for normal driving; and the cup holders are too small in diameter to hold almost anything other than a can. The car has been extremely reliable, with no repairs in 52,000 miles. Build quality is excellent, except for the cup holder issue. No squeeks or rattles. The ride is very comfortable. I get many comments about how pretty the car is. It's a shame this car is going away in 2003. It just needs a more powerful V-6.
Millie Vanilli Was GREAT!
My Millenia, fondly named Millie Vanillie, was a wonderful car. An accident totaled him, but I have to PTL that thanks to his safety features, I felt no impact and suffered no injuries. He was a wonderfully quiet ride, and had great get-up-and-go. I will miss him.
