Was a little skeptical since we previously bought a CR-V and really liked it. When we drove the CX-5 it really sold us. Handled great and was fun to drive. Can't really say that about the CR-V, which is a great car, but I wouldn't categorize it as "fun". There was snow on the road when we drove the CX-5 and it had no issue. Would have liked to get a 2022 but none available. The dealer didn't charge over sticker like all the other dealers in Chicagoland so that was a huge advantage. So far super happy with the vehicle.

This is hands-down, the most pleasant and trouble-free car I’ve owned (over 20 in my lifetime). I “splurged” on the top-of-the line Signature trim, which still came in at just under $40K. It was worth every penny. It is stylish, comfortable, and nimble, particularly in sport mode and using the paddle shifters. The liquid graphite paint is beyond gorgeous. With almost 42,000 miles this car has given me ZERO issues. See if your friends with BMWs or Mercedes can truthfully say the same thing. I wouldn’t trade them even-up. This car is that good. Read, and trust, the Edmunds editors’ review. There is a reason they gave this an “8.1 Great” rating.

Perfect - like most cars I wish the drivers seat was longer and I removed the rear seat headrests for visibility.

First Mazda ever and bought it due to all the rave reviews plus great referrals by my friends. We bought a barely used CPO 2021 CX-5 Signature and took it on a short trip. It was awesome!!! The CX-5 is like a go cart and fast (in Sports mode). Even when it was fully loaded with 4 occupants and full trunk load. With AC on and doing around 80 MPH (Cconservatively 😁), we still averaged around 25 MPG. The only thing could be better is a bigger fuel tank but that's really being picky.... Love this SUV!!!

This car is so comfortable and sporty looking, in addition to being sporty to drive. I love the safety features also. My previous vehicles were a Nissan Rogue, which I liked until they changed the body style. My Mazda is extremely comfortable and is just the right size for me. It is roomy, comfortable, and I'll be purchasing another one with all the features that I like and want.

Not a bad vehicle until you try and stop! Mazda CX5 brakes are terrible! 12,500 miles on my vehicle and all 4 rotors and pads need to be replaced which was not under warranty! Brakes were terrible from day one with rusting and grinding along with a terrible smell for 1000+ miles! I won’t buy again!

Have 21 grand Turing reserve turbo love it very impressive use it for work in Brooklyn New York 17k not a single issue even better after 50k

I never ever ever plan to have an SUV, but my mother is using a walker and I needed one to carry that around and also to make it easy for her to get it out. This car has been great it drives well it’s low maintenance it’s fun to drive and it has some nice features . I would buy it again
