Not as Good as an Accord
After purchasing a 6 with around 30,000 miles on it, I am a bit disappointed. My main gripe is with engine. It's noticeably slower than my 4-Cylinder Accord (which isn't a rocket-ship to begin with). The lack power is to a point where I won't pass someone because I am afraid I won't have enough room. The transmission is clunky and doesn't shift when you want it to. Unlike an Accord, the engine sounds like a coffee grinder -- rough and unrefined. When accelerating the engine seems very taxed. However, the handling is very good and the 6 can be thrown around with hardly any body roll. The stereo is one of the worst I have heard in a modern car.
Best looking car in the parking lot
Handles like an expensive sports car. 4cyl has good pep, manual shift is fun. The exterior design is number one with the great paint job. Getting 25 mpg around town with air cond full blast. Should get 400-500 miles a tank full.

Best in Class
60+ miles each work day. All highway. Handling is very responsive. Sports car like feel. Hugs the road. Comfortable driver's seat. Probably won't ever sit in the passenger seat! I researched the Camry, Accord and Altima. Drove them all. Bought this. Only downside is the road noise. It's not loud per se. But, test drive the car on the highway if it is something that bothers you. Cranking Sirius on the Bose stereo is always a good way to drown out road noise. Fuel economy is not as bad as it looks in the 6cyl. I have 1700+ and I am averaging 22 MPG. I noticed that when I set the cruise, I appear to be getting 25+. Mazda has a winner with this model.
Love my Mazda 6 ITP
After 5000 miles, I have no complains about my Mazda 6, ITP - V4, ebony black and black interior. So far, I can say that the Mazda 6 is a great car for its value. It's slick and sporty design stands out from the rest of of the pack. Handles really well and actually zooms as needed. It is not a racing car but a zooming sporty everyday sedan. I added HID lights (inside/outside), tinted windows, silver bumper protector, mud flaps, silver door handles and pillar posts. I get nothing but compliments about it.
Get into a Zoom Zoom
Cool car. Loving the m6 6man! Got the I sport. No need fog lights (can install after-market later/cheaper) in area. 16" steel rims and tires will be replaced after tire wear with non-stocked 17" or 18" alloy rims and tires at invoice price. No need leather wrapped steer wheel and gear shift head. With that said. Go for m6isport over more expensive m6itour trim, the zoom zoom is the same!
