The anti-SUV

Traded 2dr extended cab Tacoma for Sport Wagon with 5 speed manual. Needed more interior room, but did not want gas guzzling, top heavy SUV or full size crew cab truck. This car is great! More fun to drive than my last sedan ('98 VW Passat 1.8t/5spM), which had excellent driving dynamics too. The Mazda corners flatter and has better feel in the steering than the VW. I'd like a slightly shorter throw on the shifter, but the feel is good. Don't look in the mirror and you'd think your driving a sports coupe. Has as much cargo room as most of the 5 passenger SUVs but it's a lot more fun to drive and gets better fuel economy.

Love, love, love this car! This has been an amazing car! Drives and handles like a sports car. I have never had any major, or minor, problems with it. Part of the LCD display for the air vent was out when I bought it. I have the 4-cylinder manual and consistently get 32 MPG! This car handles well in all weather and elevations. Love the brakes and tight steering. Very responsive and smooth on the highway. I get lots of complements on the car and everyone that drives it loves it as well. I will be getting another Mazda when I finally have to part with this one.

Mazda 6 s Sport Wagon/5-spd

After two months of research, I'm pleased with my choice. The 5-spd was hard to find, but definitely the way to go - as long as you don't sit in traffic. Engine is smooth and features are abundant. Only complaints are a bolt, or something, rolling around in the console when I turn and a loose hook for the cargo barrier. Overall great value and would recommend to anyone looking for something practical yet sporty.

I bought this car to replace a Miata lost to Katrina. I absolutely love it! This is my 11th Mazda. Have only had to do oil and other fluid changes, and put a set of tires on it at 50K. I swapped the noisy Michelins for Riken Raptors and it handles as if on rails. I use it to haul my kayaks, and it performs well loaded down with two 14 foot ocean kayaks

This car looks and feels like a million dollars from the inside out. The lines on the trim to the outstanding handling put you on the top. I recommend buying this car for yourself not the wife; it is no minivan! This car to me compares to having a Mustang station wagon but still rides well on the highway, especially at high speeds.
