Lexus luxury
Too often a vehicle is judged by automotive "enthusiasts" who dwell on low 0-60 acceleration times and subsequently categorise the vehicle as preferred. After testing several vehicles I selected the Lexus rx350h. Plenty fast, handles exceptionally well, great on gas, oh, so comfortable, quiet, modern and a solid vehicle to boot with high resale value. Automotive reviewers provide an insight into vehicles but most buyers have an innate sense of satisfaction and this vehicle meets all my needs.
Smooth as silk
We’ve been Lexus owners since 2005. This is our fifth Lexus, and our third RX hybrid (we still have our 2008!) I’ve always said that driving a Lexus is like driving a living room, and I am astounded as to how that even continues to improve with every new version. This vehicle is incredibly quiet, comfortable, and roomy, with the most wonderfully silky ride, and fantastic technology and safety features. It is a complete pleasure to be a driver or passenger. We give this vehicle our highest recommendation.

Exceptional Blend of Environmental Consciousness
I have owned my 450h+ for six months and driven it 6,900 miles in and around town and on several long road trips. My 450h+ exceeds my expectations! The car’s computer has apparently learned my driving habits and now estimates my fully charged EV mileage at 43 vice the 37 it estimated when I first got the SUV. This new range appears accurate for my daily driving. I have calculated my MPGe at almost 90 MPGe. My metered home plug shows I have spent $203 dollars for electricity and my driving records show I have spent only $138 on gasoline ⛽️ @ an average of $3.38 per gallon. In summary, my 2024 Lexus RX450h+ is the most luxurious, quietest, and comfortable Lexus of all my 4 previous Lexus RX hybrids. It offers the perfect blend comfort, environmental consciousness with absolutely no range anxiety.

First hybrid. Great SUV. Roomy and comfortable.
Like the hybrid more than I thought I might. Performance is smooth and powerful enough. Four cylinder engine is a bit noisier than I like. Wish they had kept the V6 of prior models. Do not like the fact they took away the split screen option on the 14 inch display. Would have preferred buttons for controls of previous models, This one does most everything on the touch screen which does work well but personally I prefer the actual buttons.

Geat quality vehicle
Everything about this vehicle is quality. The fit and finish is outstanding. Averaging 27 mpg in suburban driving. Handling is good and paint quality is excellent. Only negative is the factory Bridgestone tires. The quality of the tires is awful compared to Michelin

Great SUV, but......
I have wanted a Lexus for a very long time. I have had many new vehicles over the last few decades - Celica, Sentra, Pathfinder GMC Yukon Denali, BMW 540, Chrysler 300 SRT, Camry, Corvette Stingray, RAM 3500 and Highlander. Luckily, all of those were solid and problem free. Hoping the same for this 2024 Lexus RX 350. So far, the good: Fit and finish, ride comfort and handling, design (interior and exterior). Needs work: Lack of 2 key fobs on delivery (safety issue) Must pay subscription fee (after trial) for navigation and connect services. No card key Glitchy "digital key," another safety issue, must pay for subscription after trial Preferred stand alone options difficult to find (e.g. Mark Levinson Audio System, AWD gas only versions) Not total show stoppers, but did not meet all expectations given the Lexus luxury brand reputation.

Absolutely love my Lexus
Beautiful pearl white and So much technology. I’ve had it almost 6 months now. Luxurious interior and the motor is so quiet I hardly know it’s running. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t have enough power but it’s more than enough. I thought about the Rx500h but I really have a lead foot! This Rx350h has plenty of power and I’m pleased with the gas mileage. This was my first Lexus and I would definitely buy another in the future.

Everything that the RX is hyped out to be
Got the Rx350 Premium after getting tired of waiting for the 350h. I would have given it 5 stars all over, except that even in this model, availability is still scarce. All that seems to be available have the dark, almost funereal, interior which I detest. I was lucky to get a White with Macadamia interior that I adore. Update one year in. Everything still going well. Only issues I have are 1:all the safety systems become relatively useless in snow 2: brake hold doesn't retain settings after restart. 3: wish that the system was less talkative. Not an hour goes by without it telling me to do something out the other in the messages window where I have ti press the back button to exit that message. Other than these, a great car. Still getting over 25 mpg

Drives like a dream, comfortable and well built
I had this car for a couple weeks now and I'm loving it. This is my first "luxury" car I've owned and it's a huge difference. From the cushy interior and lots of features to the sales process. Everything was comfortable. I'm loving the driving it. It's my first automatic car I've owned, and it just glides down the road. My only small complaint it that boy it has a ton of features that require a steep learning curve. I'm glad I bought the 450h+ since it only comes with luxury package and has everything I wanted without me having to play games with dealer on configuring a bunch of options. Update: I’m still loving this car. It’s a dream to drive but my one issue is that I wished it had more EV range (maybe 70 miles) and was fast charger compatible. The advertised range is 40 miles but I never had more than 35 and that seems to be going down. Regardless I rarely do much more than that during the week except on Saturday when I drive 35 miles out to play golf. The EV gets me most of the way there but all gas on way back. No charger at course. Not sure why EV range has been dwindling by a mile or two. Need to ask dealer. I don’t have a charger at home and charge it once a week a couple blocks away and it takes about 2 1/2 hours and costs about $5 which is acceptable. If it were a full EV, I’d probably charge at home. But so far no other complaints accept for maybe the over zealous collision avoidance system. Driving down into my garage can be a little unnerving with all pinging.

Luxurious..Smooth and Refined
I traded a 2022 NX450h+ in on this RX450h+. I was questioning if the price difference was worth the swap into the RX plug-in and I can say with certainty most definitely. Where the NX was nice it just seemed to be missing some of the luxury touches Lexus is known for. The RX plug-in goes a step above and is way more refined than the NX. So far I’m very happy and the EV range pretty much or closely matches the NX’s. Longer trips are better in the RX as well. The overall experience I wanted in the NX, but never got until I swapped into the RX.

Smooth ride !
I had the 2024 RX500H F Sport for about three months. Did not like the gas mileage, nor the erratic Shutter between the hybrid and the gas engine. Also found the seats to be very hard. Trade it in for the 2024 RX 450 plus Absolutely enjoying the vehicle love. the E. C. T. Transmission. Very smooth. Should have bought this one first. The mileage works for me around town. Also, this vehicle is manufactured in Japan Not sure, but it does feel. tighter for some reason. I plug it in overnight. No issues. The engine actually sounds quieter when it's running than the 500 H with the turbo, in my opinion,..

Way to many problems!
I bought it brand new. It is 6,100 miles now after 8 month of driving. 4 times it downshifted from "drive" to "neutral" while I was driving. Trunk is not closing by pressing buttons (requiring a lot of force to be closed manually). I cannot open the trunk from inside of the vehicle by pressing the button. Sometimes it doesn't open from outside either and I have to shut down the engine and restart the vehicle in order for it to work again. Radio shuts down periodically. I have to connect my phone to the vehicle very frequently. Dealership cannot duplicate downshifting, radio, and phone. They agreed to change trunk sensor only after I showed a video I made as a proof of malfunctioning.

Interior rattle noise
My new ‘24 RX350 has a rattle noise when driving it….. all the time. I noticed it the 2nd day after I took ownership of it. It’s now 2 weeks old. I took it back and after 3 days in service they told me the the noise was gone. Not! I picked it up and drove it about 100 ft and heard the noise. I turned right around and said it still makes noise. The service advisor said to just turn up the radio so I couldn’t hear the noise. I now have Lexus Corporate office looking into the situation. This was not what I expected from Lexus.

Just what I needed!
I really like this new model of RX. I previously had the NX 350 and needed a little more space for the little ones and I got exactly what I wanted. Not too big and not to small. Very sleek and modern. I love the display screen which is one of my favorite features, along with the heated seats and stirring wheel.

Traded in a 2019 RX F sport for my 2024 RX Premium Plus and no regrets. It’s much quicker with the torque improvement, quieter, smoother, and much more up to date tech wise. This is my 5th Lexus and can definitely say this is a step in the right direction. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you, it’s worth a test drive!

Lexus RX 450h+ Gas Tank/MPG
The gas mileage and tank are over rated. I have now completely drain the tank where the vehicle will alert to pull over and park, that the engine has turned off. The vehicle was out of Ev charge as well. The remaining hybrid charge allowed the vehicle to get to the gas station. The fill up at the pump was 14.05 gallons. So far the MPG is around 28.5 miles per gallon for me. I do drive with a heavy foot but in the 2021 RAV4 hybrid I would get around 32mpg and the 2011 Camry Hybrid 30mpg. I have tried to get the 37 and it just does not seem possible unless you are counting electric miles. The gas light comes on at 4 gallons left in the tank and will state 25-32 miles left. Once the miles hit zero it will say Refuel. When it says Refuel there is 3 gallons left in tank. I have filled up a number of times almost at zero on gas light and it takes almost 11 gallons. I drove almost 90 miles on refuel before the warning came on that the engine has shutoff. Hope this helps everyone, I could not find this information anywhere so I tested out the supposed 14.5 gallon tank that is listed in the manual.

RX450H+ PHEV
Awesome vehicle. Upgraded from a 2015 RX350 Fsport. Was thinking of getting the RX500H but so glad I purchased the RX450H+ instead. Better gas mileage and plenty of performance, handling and acceleration. The luxury package has better overall options. Installed an aftermarket hitch for bike rack. Same Curt Mfg hitch that is fits the other 2024 RX SUVs. Very happy so far!
Blind spots galore
The lack of pick up when trying to get on a Freeway in my RX350h Isn't nearly as dangerous as the blindspots especially on the right side. The outside mirror is of little help. All of the "safety equipment " is distracting. For example, my car tells me to "sit up". If monitoring where a car on my right is, it tells me I am distracted. I have disabled everything I can. The mileage is much less than stated. I get about 29.5 miles/gal of premium gasoline. There is little leg room in the back seat. The "trunk" closure button is on the wrong side. The driver has to get behind the vehicle to push the button located on the right to close it. It should be on the driver's side to be accessible to the driver. The information panel inside is not easily available for the driver to touch the right side of the screen. Now THAT is distracting. There is more but all in all, I am not likely to keep it for as long as I financed it.

Bridge the gap in style
Nice ride, loaded with perks and averages 38.5 MPG (without have to plan for charging stations!).
why did I do that!!
I traded my 2011 RX for 2024 Fully loaded RX 350. Its 4 weeks and 2 trips to dealer. Car just won't start and its with dealer. Only driven 100 miles after purchase. I guess reliability went down the drain. I think my BMW is more reliable and will not buy Lexus again.

Lexus Rx 350
So far I love this car, the luxury, the infotainment, the ride are all awesome! The only complaint I have which is to be expected is the gas mileage. I am coming from a Santa Fe with a regular engine, into this beauty which has a turbo. Turbo uses more gas, i know that, just an initial shock. Doesn’t help that it requires premium gas. Overall i am super happy with this vehicle

Overpriced luxury car with a Corolla engine
I really tried to like this car, my 2012 RX is still going strong. I bought the luxury model for the upscale seats, unfortunately the touch screen section is difficult to use when driving. Who thought sliding your finger over a fan icon on the screen was a good idea? The adaptive cruise control is too sensitive (despite adjustments). Any safety features I shut off come back on the next time I start the car. The engine is sluggish when passing despite the turbo. The engine sounds like a low end Corolla & is very loud. Did I mention a 13 gallon tank. They’ve cheaped this car out. Buyer beware

Quality paint is NOT included
The white paint is lovely and it glows in the evening light but it Chips!!! It chips in every day driving conditions & when working with dealers about it, they say pay extra for ceramic coating. Cheaper cars have better paint quality. It’s ridiculous that a luxury package doesn’t include quality paint.

Terrible step backwards
Drove one of these for 2 days when I was having another Lexus serviced. Hated it. My biggest gripe is that terrible 4 cylinder engine. I sounds awful, and the reliability of turbos is going to be questionable. When one of those breaks, it will cost over 6k to replace. Also, didn't like the electronic door handles, and the constant interruptions the car does when you're driving because it doesn't like something. It's a constant irritation. To make matters worse, Lexus put that same engine in the huge Lexus TX. I think they need to cut down on the mushrooms during work-time. Those engineers must have been high when this was decided. The things that I liked - the automatic breaking with the driver assist is excellent. Also the interior is quite nice. Still I have a 2020 RX F sport and I think it's a much better car. I wouldn't trade it in if they gave me a free 2025 RX.

Unfriendly
Needs a V6. Motor is noisy and enemic. Extremly unfriendly controls. Our 22 GT4 and 23 C8 are much easier to use. I want my 2015 GS 350 back. Your designers are going in the wrong direction. And who's idea was to put ugly black wheels an a luxury SUV. They make it look cheap! The only reason we bought it is because my wife liked the color. Buying this vehicle was a big mistake.

It doesn’t live up to the hype
We test drove a variety of RX’s and none gave us the motivation to spend over $50K on an SUV. The hybrid models lag torque, the Sport models guzzle gas and worst of all was the amount of time we wasted at the dealership was a definite waste of time. We were told Lexus could purchase our GMC lease only to find out one hour later that it was not possible

Awesome SUV
We have had Lexus hybrid models in the past in the ES300. We are now grandparents to five and back to soccer Mom and Dad again. The 2024 RX350h is an amazing vehicle with luxury and power too. 31 MPH on first tank and expecting to reach 36. It is my wife's her new personal tag says NANA RX but I try to steal it whenever I can! But I'm OK with driving my 07 LS460 with 187K just about broke in! You can't beat Toyota or Lexus for quality and worth the $$$

Exceeds Expectations
Recently purchased a 2024 RX 350h. As the owner of a 2017 RX, I was at first disappointed that Lexus decided to not continue with offering the new RX with a V-6 engine which was super quiet and responsive. However, I have adjusted to the 4 cylinder hybrid which is more than adequate, if a little less refined and powerful. The interior is very nice, quiet, and comfortable with a major upgrade to the infotainment system, technology, and safety features. The wireless CarPlay system is very intuitive to use and there are multiple USB-C outlets throughout the vehicle. The ride of this new generation of RX continues to be very pleasant and the cabin does a great job of limiting the intrusion of outside noise. My experience in the first month of commuting 35 miles each way on country roads, major arterials, and freeways has exceeded the EPA estimated MPG. I am averaging between 38-41 MPG. I am careful to gradually accelerate and apply my brakes which I believe is helping achieve the higher than estimated MPG. I am also using the Normal drive mode and have my AC on while driving. The bottomline is that I am very satisfied with my Lexus.

Power and Precision in Motion
Performance-wise, this car is unbeatable—it really moves. However, fuel efficiency isn’t its strong suit since it’s a performance hybrid. It’s incredibly quiet and offers a smooth, seamless driving experience. If you tend to have a heavy foot, make sure to keep an eye on the dashboard to stay aware of your speed.

I love my Lexus
I like the smooth ride and the sleek look. It has the latest technology features. I am not a fan of the lane assist or the auto-on to save gas, so I just turned them off. I enjoy the hands free options for calling, navigation, radio stations. I can start and lock my car from my phone. I have not had a new car in over 12 years. This is everything I want and need. The only thing I would add is a panoramic sunroof and a 6 cylinder engine. The 4 cylinder dual turbo is not bad but it is not as powerful as my 6 cylinder Toyota Camry.

Now I see the hype!
I traded in a 2023 Acura Integra( totally different kind of car) because it was loud on all roads, wind, tire noise and not so great built quality. I realized I needed something quiet, comfortable with better build quality. Well, my 2024 Rx350 has checked all the boxes. It’s super quiet, especially driving locally, highway driving I experienced little to no wind noise and only some road noise but not loud by any means. The quality and fit and finish are impeccable. I’m impressed with this car and after 7,000 miles I’ve found a keeper .

Surprise Surprise Surprise
The Rx350 premium has been full of surprises. Wire harness dropping out of the dash and wrapping around the brake. Rear glass and qtr glass tinting looks like a checkerboard. Passenger mirror jerks into position when going into reverse from park. The constant driver attention warnings are certainly annoying and wrong. Closed eye detected…really. This is my Third RX and definitely not the best. Acceleration is fine and safety sensors certainly work as I had close contact with a deer and the car braked instantly and instead of a collision only got a hoof in the grill. Brought up the glass issue to the dealer and got no response. This is not the quality I expected. Not a bad car but seems it should be better for the brand and reputation. And by the way if you catch a rock in the windshield expect 10 week repair time for original equipment replacement. Dealer said if not original equipment it could void the warranty. So don’t be surprised if these issues pop up. I was.

A Car Wash Nightmare
This is my first Lexus. I am giving it 3 stars because taking it through the carwash is a nightmare. I have never had to break to switch from Neutral to Drive, with any of the vehicles I have driven. The dealership indicates it is a safety feature, to feel as if you will be rear ended by the car behind you in the car wash. The car coasting, as I struggle to determine the end of the carwash ramp, to switch from neutral to drive, does not feel safe! The car also has a 4 Cylinder Turbo Engine which, is a nice drive compared to the Jaguar F-Pace that I test drove. The engine noise is loud when you first get up and go but smooths out. I do highway driving on my way to work, and it is quick once it gets Going. I love the Intuitive driving on the thruway, where the vehicle automatically breaks in busy traffic. Using the voice command system to tell my Lexus to put on my heated seats, change the music station, or have my Navigation take me home it is a smooth system. I live in a cold climate and it drives well in the snow. However it is the carwash that makes me not want another one.

Unfathomable dash with unhelpful manual .
Design flaws such as miniature buttons replacing normal sized door handles and a gearshift pattern that is dangerously complex with dashboard complexities that are still not mastered after months of ownership and a reliance on cell phone phones to access GPS with an owners manual that is esoteric to the nth degree make this the most disappointing vehicle that I have ever owned .

It is a nice car for conservative person who does not wish to be harr ass ed by the fuzzzzz. Ride is better than the Acura I had before this. It is really quiet.
