Poor Design, Horrible resale value
Purchased the FWD 08 RX350 in NOV 08 with 16,000 miles it was certified pre- owned. I like all the bells and whistles that it came with, such as the telescoping steering wheel and leather seats just to name a few. I drove it from SC to TX and the drive was excellent, nice and quiet. I do not like the front design, it looks too feminine and also the so claimed re sale value is terrible. I tried to trade it in and was sadly informed that I would be 10k upside down if i traded it in with 27,400miles in excellent condition. Although it is a nice vehicle it does not hold its value.
Best car ever. It looks
17 years old. 46500 miles and never needed a repair. Plenty of power and room.

Awesome SUV
After our beloved newer Honda CR-V was stolen during Covid lockdowns we purchased our 2008 Lexus RX350. She had 91K on her and we were the second owners. Today she has 132,000 and is still running strong. We have done oil changes, replaced tires and had the brakes done. This has been the most comfortable SUV ever. We have been on a couple trips with her and she was very roomy even with 4 adults 1 kid and two dogs in the car. We did try putting regular gas in her but she did not like it. So with the cost of gas this is rough since she only gets about 18-20 miles per gallon. We loved our newer Honda CR-V but the comfort, reliability and ease of driving can't be beat with this Lexus RX350. We have talked about getting a new car and are leaning strongly on another RX350.
