Wonderful Sport Sedan .....
After reviewing all the competition from Japan and Germany the IS 350 won. From a value standpoint it is far, far less expensive when you add all the options that are standard. But more important the car is built to the highest standards in this category with a wonderful 306hp engine that rockets this car effortlessly to speeds well over the limit. Mine has the Sport Package which includes a firmer suspension and larger wheels and the car sticks like glue in the corners although it gets a bit unsettled in the bumpy stuff. The Navigation w/Mark Levinson stereo is superb and highly recommended. I understand the ML system is not usually ordered by the dealers, but look around to find one.
Zippy IS
Since I got my IS 350 in early March, I've been looking forward to go to work every morning, not because I love my job that much but because I get to drive this very fast car for 45 minutes each way. It is such a pure joy to drive, aggressively or leisurely. It accelerates mightily and brakes commandingly. It's head-turning gorgeous lines and stylish plush cabin make me feel like king of the road day in, day out.

A four door "Corvette" with luxury
This car is amazing. I simply love driving it each day. I have owned the car for almost a year now and would not change a thing. The speed is amazing, it can keep up with most of the sedans out there and even many sport cars. Yet, when at speed, the car is very quiet and smooth. Driving this car really is like driving a luxurious, four door Corvette.
Dream Car
After 17000 miles I still smile everytime I drive it and no problems to report , handling is not as sharp as my previous BMW M3 but ride is a lot better, and much more dependable and less to purchase and maintain. What a car, sure it's not super quiet but it is a sport sedan. Why buy a sports sedan and then complain about noise?
IS 350
I chose the IS 350 over the BMW 330 because after test driving both of them I could not discern a significant difference between the two. To me that was a big plus for the Lexus. Acceleration, handling and braking was very impressive. And for the interior, there is no comparison the Lexus wins. Plus the features and oh that Mark Levinson, need I say more. People complain about VDIM but how many people drive to its limit? and how often? BMW has more to lose and Lexus more to gain. For an awesome daily fun to drive performance vehicle it was a no brainer. Now add better reliability and good looks and ah yes price need I say more.
