Used 2006 Lexus IS 250 Consumer Reviews
The perfect car
I love this car. Everything is perfect in it. The stereo sounds amazing. I can whip around turns without concern, the little guy gets up and goes on the freeway. Absolutely love the car. Out of all the ones I've owned, this is my favorite. I live in Michigan which has unforgiving winters. NEVER had an issue with this car in the snow. The Lexus AWD handles better than all the pickup trucks and SUVs I've had.

Does it really need Z rated tires?
Love the car. Great looks and comfort. However, not impressed with the performance tires. They are noisy at low speeds and seem flat in sharp turns. Have had them checked and seem to be a characteristic of these type of tires.

Barely a Lexus
This is not my first Lexus, but it certainly will be my last. The performance of this car pales in comparison to my old RX 330. It hesitates when you get on it, the mpg is ridiculous for a car this size and please... never, ever try to drive it in even slightly icy conditions. The car will not stop at all from even 10 mph in low gear when there is ice. It does have its bright points. It turns very well and holds the road exceptionally at higher speeds (3 digit), but I hesitate to take it out at all in adverse conditions. A Lexus? Hardly. At least not compared to its siblings. After just a few months I am already looking to take the loss, trade it in and get a different auto altogether.
One sharp car...
Love the styling, interior, navigation and audio system. 28 mpg is very cool right now. Heads turn with this car.
IS 250 AWD Vancouver
Picked up a blue IS 250 AWD two weeks ago, and enjoy it very much. More luxury than performance, but adequate horsepower for most circumstances. Still in the break-in stage, so there should be some improvement over time. Very comfortable for driver and front passenger with limited, but still useable room in the back, at least for short trips.
