GS is a great car
I think this car is great, you cant here the motor let alone the road noise, mine has navigation and it brings out the beauty of the dash. I also enjoy the frame work of the dash in relation to the windsheild. The heated seats work awsome for when I travel to the snow or on a cold night.- My chick really diggs it too. On the exterior I have onyx black paint with a spoiler. I dont care to much for the grill which I am going to have replaced, HID front lamps are awsome, dont care to much for the lexus crome 16 in rims so will be replacing those.
Almost Perfect
Quality oozes from this car. Styling, handling, comfort, and space are all excetional. The ride is pure pleasure and not a rattle anywhere.

High mileage and still strong
I acquired this 2000 Lexus GS 300 sports for almost 7 years now. A hand me down from my brother in-law due to rear engine main seal leaking. The current mileage is 250K. I never had any major issues aside from normal wear and tear (i.e., brakes, vacuum hoses, serpent belts, valve cover gasket, oil pan seal, tires, etc.) I replace with OEM parts that can be bought on-line or junkyard and YouTube on how to DIY. Compare this car to my wife's 1999 BMW 328i that has more issues and the check engine light is always on. A rare 2JZ-GE Supra engine gives you the fast acceleration on the freeway but eats lot of gas, 16 gallons full tank last me only for 4 days of daily driving.

Still the best car
I wish I have all the money to own it since new, anyway, purchased at 66k miles for $12k, just put another 5000, so far, did tune-up, O2 sensor replaced. Looks new and still shiny paint.
