Great car
Leased a 2024 KIA Soul GT line, and I love the car. Good room in the front and easy to get in and out of, trunk is easy to access and has a wide opening that is low. This car has so many bells and whistles it is amazing, the automation is great. Pairing a phone with car is simple, the computer does it automatically. Once you set the smart cruise the lane follow and assist does most of the work. UPDATE: Up date on my 2024 GT line KIA soul. I'm getting 24 to 26 in town and just drove 28 miles on city and highway and was getting 35.5 MPG with air on. All the features on this car are great, like I said in earlier review. Set cruise and the car drives it self, maintains distance selected. I use 1 car length and car will keep at the speed set until a car gets in front of you and then it will maintain one car length behind that car. Seats are very comfortable and adjust to what you like for position. The car is a real joy to drive and have no trouble merging with traffic.

Surprise
I just got a 2024 this week. I love the car and the way it drive but I got a surprise when I lowered the back seat for more storage space. Not only does the seat not lay flat but it is elevated like 6” above the regular cargo area! I had an HR-V and it was completely flat when I lowered the seat. This is very disappointing as I don’t feel this really give me extra space. Of course, it’s my own fault. I didn’t think to lower the seat when I was shopping it.

Ridingn’Styling
Replaced my base 2018 Kia Soul with fully loaded 2024 Kia Soul GT-Line after 6 years and 25,000 trouble free miles. I was particularly interested in the extra features that came with the Technology Package. I’m a six foot tall guy and the ergonomics of this vehicle given its subcompact size category suits me very well. The safety features such as front collision avoidance, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert help me operate the vehicle safely. The redesigned front and rear along with upgraded interior is styling.

A problem the dealer says in all of them
Overall a nice car to replace my 2013 model. However it has one very annoying issue the dealer won't or can't fix. When running the cruise control the engine operates at significantly higher RPM's then when not on cruise control. It seem that higher engine speeds would result in lower gas milage. More important and quite annoying is that when running cruise control, the engine speed varies up to 400 RPMs in an up and down searching manner. Speed stays constant but you hear the engine revving up and down constantly. presumably with the transmission kicking in and out to maintain constant speed. The car has 5000 miles on it and I am not happy with it.

Why I considered it, bought it, my experience
I wanted product that had high reliability ratings and also cheap. It reminds me of my first new car a 1976 toyota corolla in it's simplicity and sewing machine-like engine character. The sales experience was pleasant and reasonable. The finance manager was less pleasant, and the service department I don't care for because the 8K mile service is marked as being completed, the written pre-delivery service receipt wasn't provided, or the dealer's certification of delivery document wasn't provided - all items that are required with delivery of a vehicle. Owner's manual specifies an oil that cannot be obtained and the dealer uses a Pennzoil OW-20 but can't state the API classification. Fuel requirements say unleaded of 87 octane or higher and describes how ethanol blended fuel can harm this engine, prohibits E85 and more than 15% ethanol fuel, and says since the government says ethanol fuel is ok, then it's ok. A surprise and refreshing frankness. The IVT transmission is very nice making the ride sporty beyond what I expected for a 2 liter engine. With a high seating position and roomy interior, visibility is very good but the sideview mirrors are too small. My color is surf blue, a positive shade compared to the dreary colors of many new cars. I was hesitant of the color but now glad of my choice.

Love bug!
There is a lot more room inside the soul than it would appear from just looking at the body of the car. Leg space and headspace are plentiful. The tech is awesome. Though the speakers are not highly special, the sound system is great. The only thing I wish I had is more trunk space.
Not switching no matter what
This cute little car has it all. Plenty of room for 4 and some cargo. Nice highway manners and gas mileage that always surprises if you stick to the speed limit and drive carefully. I own a 2023 LX. I plan on buying a 2025 LX. I’m actually on Soul #6 as i trade every two years at 65,000 miles. Until they make vast improvements in electric car performance and have more charging options around me, I’ll happily stick with a Kia Soul.

THIRD SOUL FOR ME
I am now on my 3rd Kia Soul. I bought my first in 2010, second in 2015 and now my 2024. I know buying a Kia Soul that I will have a reliable, trustworthy car. I treated my 2nd Soul awful, neglected oil changes, did not get recommended services, and that thing kept trucking. I finally had almost 150,000 and decided to get another, this one will be getting the best care. I am a single woman, and I need a car that I know will last and be reliable. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence with one. I will always buy a Soul.

Ok for what it is
Driving experience is like driving a Ford Transit. Brakes are good, takes a bit getting used to. Throttle response is lacking, you have to press the gas a bit more to get it to move. Forward visibility is kinda bad for a compact vehicle, high dash and long nose. Otherwise it's pretty easy to park. It's pretty spacious for what it is. I would rather get a different compact hatch over this one, but there aren't a lot of options these days.
Kia Soul
I previously had a 2016 Kia Sorento but was wanting something more compact since my son no longer uses a stroller or a huge car seat. I did a lot of research on subcompact SUV'S and this one came up. I really wanted the Chevy Trax but wasn't sold on it when I test drove it and the rear view mirror was a big no for me. I then test drove the kia soul and completely fell in love. I have wide hips and was worried I wasn't going to be able to fit in the car but I did! LOL. It's easy to get in and out of. My son has no issues opening and closing the door by himself. It's a perfect car for us. I do city driving and It's rare that I go out on the highway and I also don't drive at night. If you do a lot of driving at night or on the highway then I would definitely look into something else for the road noise might be a bother and the headlights aren't the brightest. But in my case, this car is perfect in everyway. If they offered it in a AWD, it would be unstoppable!

GT Line sport mode drives like a go cart.
Gas mileage, sport appearance, flat bottom steering wheel, seats, cargo space with rear hatch access, and a consumer reports recommended checkmark, all means a reliable and well built economy car.

My 2024 Kia replaced a 2019 Honda Civic and WOW!
Update of original review at 202 miles. -3 star because it started making a terrible noise! I had a window down and put it up. Then it sounded like a helicopter. I started wondering if a tire was flat. I opened and shut windows and slowed from 35 mph to about 10 mph! It stopped, started and stopped again. The sound was so awful I pulled over and Googled it and saw others had it happen. It was unbearably loud, but did stop and I went several places. I was so afraid I'd have to have the dealership work on it already! If it does this again, I will give the car 3 stars. The sound physically hurt my head, and only did this 1 day. I had a 2014 Kia for 4 years and loved it, but it was noisy. Now they are very smooth and quiet, plus they accelerate very fast, especially switching from a Honda Civic with only 28,000 miles! I traded due to a surgery and cried because I loved my Honda, but the Kia is so much easier to get into. It drives itself if a line is on each side of your lane. It tells me when cars are in my blind spot and it tells me if I’m sitting at a red light and I don’t go in the car in front of me has gone. You can set it to a really light beep or you can set it to a stronger one and I have it on the light setting. I still haven’t read about all of the features but there are so many really nice features. I am very short and I had to sit on a pillow and it was really hard and thick to be tall enough in the Honda Civic and it made it even harder to get out because of the steering wheel in the car being so short. This car I can get in and out without dislocated my hip. I was actually shocked when I did the test drive because Kia souls are so much nicer than they were before. It’s so smooth of a ride and I’m shocked because the reviews made it sound noisy and not smooth and they’re not true. I wish they were ratings that described how they really are because I almost didn’t get one and that’s why I was crying when I traded in my car I was afraid I was going to have a loud car where I couldn’t hear my phone call like my car from 2014.

Beautiful Soul
I loved driving the Soul GT-Line model so much that I bought it after the test drive. It’s a glossy black, sad portly model with a sports car interior, and sizable trunk space. It’s beautiful.

2025 Kia Soul.............not so sure.
I love my 2025 Kia Soul. It runs great, so comfortable, great on gas. Here's the problem. 4 months and 5,000 miles later I am hearing that famous ticking noise. I've taken it in once, and nobody knew anything. I'm taking it in again next week. If they still can't discover what it is, I'll be trading it in. And, there will be no more Kias for me.

Love at first sight
Fusion black is peppy and fun to drive
Roomy!!
Very roomy, this is my third Kia Soul I've ever had. Only things I would wish they offered was an AWD version without having to go to a completely different model in the lineup. I love the Soul because of it's unique look!
