I really love my 2010 Kia Soul. It has enough passenger room to carpool with four adults and I can fit all my music gear in the back for band practice. The interior is great - especially the stereo and easy-to-use steering wheel controls. I choose the Kia over the Scion xB or xD, and am happy with my choice. I think the Soul hits the size sweet spot between the original and redesigned xB.

I test drove the Soul twice, couple of days apart. I wanted to make sure that my initial impressions were not due to an impulse, a sudden urge to have it ... as it was love on first sight. Because love is blind, the second time I drove it back-to-back with the new with Mazda3 and I tried to pay close attention. Both times the car felt exactly the same. Friendly, inviting, somehow familiar. Safe, willing, cooperative and cheerful. Cool and cute and very good looking. I say those are the qualities of a perfect companion. A soul mate, if you will. No other car I ever owned felt quite the same way. That's how I knew IT IS THE ONE!

This Little suv is fun to drive I've owned it for two day's now and my husband and I love it. I tried out Honda Element-HondaCRV-HondaFit-and Ponticac Vibe- and Subaru Forester and the SOUL all in one day. The soul won We traded in a 2005 Nissan Frountier I recomend this to anyone....

Love my car. Interior skuffs easily. At 15300 km I found a bulge in my tire. Dealership claims it is my driving, the tire store says the belt has shifted. The tire is a Nexen CP662 P225/45R18. Anyone else finding the same problem??

I absolutely LOVE my new Soul Sport! I fell in love with the interior color of the sport and had to have it. You truly get more bang for your buck with the Kia Soul compared to anything else on the market. It's roomy and comfortable and unique. It's way better looking than the Cube or the XB and has more bells and whistles. I love the bluetooth and steering wheel controls. I could do without the sport suspension, as the ride is much bumpier than I'm used to, but the pros outweigh the cons for sure. I am coming from a mid sized SUV and a minivan, so I needed something larger than a sedan but less expensive than an SUV. The Soul has everything I want!

After owning a Bertone X19, Mercedes 450SL, Mustang, Landrover, I bought the Kia Soul plus on a impulse. As I was in the dealership I was trying to Google info on the Soul but all I could find was specs and test drive reviews. So here is the real low don on the car.Exterior - Head turner, a funky good looking car with a sleek online design that flows around the car giving it an geometric look. My color is titanium, however all the colors look cool. Interior, plenty of room for 5 passengers, I'm 6'2" and my friend was 6'5 and still had 3 ft of head room. the two adults and a car seat in the back were all comfortable. The controls are easy to use, and loads of extras come with the car.

OK little car for work. I cannot stand the interior wind noise. I am preparing for a fight w/ the service dept over this. My 03 diesel V8 is quieter than this car. I should of stuck to my original plan to purchase a used Mini instead. $16000 regret!

Just purchased a Soul+. Cute, fun car. Seats are very comfortable and love the design of the car. Has more room than thought at first glance. Like the clearance from the ground. I love this car. It suits my needs, greats great gas mileage and super fun!

Bought Soul off showroom floor @ 46miles. I compared with Scion XB/XD/TC,& the Cube. You get the full package w/the base price for a Soul. Those others were overpriced w/nothing in them. Soul has great design, comfortable & great seating space. I felt spoiled cuz I bought fully loaded Soul Sport & dealership had exterior customized already on showroom floor. Bought for $19,980. I get alot of compliments & people stop at the lights or in middle of traffic just to talk to me about the vehicle. It has all the luxuries I ever wanted in a vehicle - without paying that luxury price. I love my Soul. Bought it 05/01/09 & now has 6,400 miles. Like I said, I LOVE my Soul!!!

I've had my Alien Green car whom I've named Sweet P now since March and cannot stop appreciating all that it has to offer in terms of coolness factor. And apparently those around can't either. It sounds cliche, but with it's unique design it seems to turn car experts and novices into believers that you can have everything you want in a vehicle and still make a statement! I've noticed people who drive expensive vehicles, both foreign and domestic really checking out my recent purchase. Something I wasn't expecting when I bought this attention grabber. It's a fun car to own; it handles well in tight spots, bluetooth is great, the sound system is awesome and it's just right for me. Thx Kia!

I just bought my Kia sport yesterday in the Molten. I bought the automatic, it seems to have plenty of pick up and go. It has plenty of head and leg room..even in the back seat. It is so cute! It is a head turner. I have the only one in my town so far. The ride is good and smooth, I don't hear road noise at any speed. I traded my 2007 focus ses in, The Focus had more road noise for sure. The stereo is very nice, excellent sound. The interior is awesome..love the red and the mood lights. The sales lady said this car was geared toward 40 and under, I told her I am 45 and proud to be a new Kia Soul owner!!!!

We bought the Soul as a 3rd car ( teenager got the older car) for mom to drive. She puts quite a few miles on a car per year so we wanted something w/ decent fuel economy. We chose the Soul over Honda CRV, Toyota Rav4, Kia Sportage & Subaru Forester.

We spent about 1,000 miles driving mostly in Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park and Gardiner, MT, where roads can be very steep and very rough. The Soul accommodated ordinary luggage for two and handled all the terrain we encountered with ease. It also was peppy enough to give me no concerns on Interstates, including long hauls on grades. The looks are great and the handling is very good. Comfort was never an issue on the long haul from Bozeman to Yellowstone. I thought the fuel economy was a tad disappointing, considering the size of the vehicle. I think it should get at least 32 on highway, but it got about 27. Still, I am now considering buying a Soul.

One fine little Machine Averaging 33 miles to gallon. Handling and Performance is excellent. Finally bought something that doesn't look like everything else on the highway. As for the Kia Soul I dont think I could have bought anything out there that satisfies myself and my wife more then Kia Soul

I love my Soul but hate the highway mileage. The city miles are better than average, but mileage goes down on the highway. Not a vacation vehicle but the most fun I ever had driving.

I'm not the demographic at 50ish years old. Or a hamster (see commercial). But I wanted a comfortable, safe, well- designed car with a great warranty and price. I did the research, test drove others and after 90 days of ownership am still THRILLED with the choice I made. Great city drive and for a highway that doesn't have bumps.

I had wrecked my car only to find out that it was totaled and had to go on a shopping trip. I went to Hagerstown Honda because that is where I ALWAYS go, great people, great prices! Well I had a car salesman named Britton who was AMAZING. I told him the type of car I was looking for (and it was supposed to be used) and my price range. He said he had the perfect fit for me... he pulled around in the very same car I ended up purchasing. As soon as I got in I loved it. Its a fun little ride =)

I bought this car for a daily round trip commute of 36 miles. It's a good car with adequate gas mileage (28 mpg city/hgwy). It's fun to drive & provides good vision down the road. Does have a right side blind spot that requires one to be aware. It is a good value.

It's HOT! Got 1st RED Sport in SF bay area. So many stares & people coming up to me in parking lots, etc. Everybody wants to know what it is & where they can get it. For a while, I just handed out the dealer's business card! So fun to drive!Overall visibility is good cuz you sit a little higher up. Fits tall people-- had a 6'6'' passenger & still more head room! Great at turns & U-turns-- no more 3-point turns for me! Audio system is the bomb-CD/Ipod/USB (just plug in USB flash drive & have TONS of music)and interior LIGHTS that pulse to music(yes, gimmicky & a little juvenile, but so very fun.)Go up steep hills & accelerate like a champ(turn off the econ-over-drive for more power.) I LOVE IT!

The Soul is the fouth kia I have owned and all have been trouble free and well made. The Soul is a unique design inside and out. It's loaded with features you would normally pay for as an option. The ride and interior sound level is excellent. My only upgrade is the 315 watt sterio with sub woofer, lighted speakers and front center speaker, 8 total. I would highly recommend the soul to anyone looking for a mini suv.

OK I love this car (my new car). I bought a soul! AT about a week ago and I love this car. I get looks and complements all the time on it. (your driving the hampster car) lol It has everything I wanted and needed in it for the best price ever. I highly suggest this car to any parent looking for a great car for there children that is safe, reliable, and has a sporty look, but yet it great on gas. This is the car.

I love this car..unfortunately since I bought it in August it has been in the shop 4 times for blown heater hoses ...I think I have a lemon but Kia is looking into the problem..it's a fun car

I just love my little alien colored soul. It handles like a dream. I went from a chevy s-10 which was only getting about 12 mpg in city. I have heard about the 'road noise' but after being in a pickup for the last 10 years, I haven't noticed any at all... This is a really cute car, rides great and so far really good gas mileage.

I spent a lot of time comparing the RAV4, CRV, Outlander, and others. The price, features, MPG, warranty, and most important question "Do I like this car" led me to buy the Soul. I have put on 7,000 miles since May 09. I drive 60 miles a day and have taken this on 4 trips so far. I can truly say I am VERY happy with the Soul, how it is built, comfort, and MPG. I am 6' tall and there is plenty of room for me to sit. My 6'7" brother in law can also fit into this car! Front and side visibility is great. Rear visibility is good. Handling is great I saved $5 - 6,000 over a RAV4 (which was my 2nd choice). I am planning on driving this til it dies, we will see when that is!!

The vehicle is awesome to drive and a pleasure to own. I couldn't have asked for a better deal as well as incentives for a purchase of a new vehicle. Yes. Interior is cheap but for the price I cannot complain. Extremely satisfied in my purchase and will use kia again in the future!

Great interior space and a bunch of standard features. Excellent light clutch, braking and steering. Nice fuel economy (30 City/30.5 Hwy @70- 75mph), but I believe it could do better HWY with a 6th gear. (3000RPM @ 60mph) Very noisy at speeds over 60mph. Plenty of air bags and excellent warranty. Great value.

I have had my Soul for just over a month and agree with nearly everything written previously. It has more than adequate power, handles very well, but is a bit 'busy' in the ride. It is extremely comfortable, especially for larger people. I had a 6'3", 300+ pounder in the car and the car basically said "So?". Gas mileage with air on nearly constantly has been about 27 overall. The Soul has the BEST steering wheel mounted cruise control controls anywhere. Same with the radio controls. This is my first experience with Bluetooth and I love it! The only real negative is the interior plastic which shows scratches if you look at it sideways. I would definitely buy it again.

We just returned from a 2500 mile road trip in our new Soul+. Car handles really well on interstate and winding 2 lane roads. Great directional stability. Reminds me of a slot car! Short wheel base does result in jarring ride on bumpy roads, but not a deal breaker. got anywhere from 28 to 34 mpg, doing 70-75 with air on. Our + has the black interior, and it does tend to scuff up pretty quick. First car I have had in many years that allows you to see the ground when you look in the engine compartment! Lots of room in the interior and you sit up higher than a sedan. even higher than the PT Cruiser we traded in. Plenty of power for normal drivers.

I have been a Ford girl my whole life. Life has change and I needed something more in my price range and found the Soul !. This is the perfect car for me. It is fun to drive, it looks sharp on the road, and handles great for local driving, and highway driving. I am not sure what noisy highway driving means, but I drove about 400 miles on the highway and had no issue with noise, or anything, in fact it was a great trip! I highly recommend the Soul. And for those that have commented to me to buy American, well, if there were cars that were more in my budget, I think I would still buy a Soul!

I was shopping for a 2006 Scion xB(the newer one grew way too big and milage sux), but it was hard to find a good one where I live, so I checked out the Soul. For only about $1,000.00 more than a used 2005-2006 xB I got a 2010 Soul with the great warranty. This box on wheels is a bit longer than the xB with a tad more room behind the rear seats and a longer hood. It is ugly with far to "busy" exterior styling. I prefer the early xB or the Cube for looks but the interior is laid out better in the Soul with the instrument cluster in front of the driver for easier visual access. I wanted the best gas mileage so I chose the base model, 1.6 L engine with no automatic transmission available.
We get lots of attention.

I bought this vehicle in August.I just turned 4000 miles.I traded in a 09 Honda Fit for the Soul.I was very unsatisfied with the Fit,it was cheaply made.The Soul grabbed me with its style.It also felt safer,I was accurate with that impression,it just passed the all new 2010 safety IIHS tests with the best ratings in all four categories.The handling is fantastic and safe.There is always a trade off with great handling,a firmer ride.If you do not like a firm ride get the Plus model.It does not have the Sport suspension and 18in low profile tires.I love the red ext and red and black int.I love all the features.I turned on the rear defrost and realized I had heated mirrors also.Stereo rocks.

When I went looking for a car I was in the market for used. My husband and I saw the Soul and my husband feel in love. It was new so I was a little leary but he talked me into it. I it has awesome features and it is great value for the price. I have driven other new cars that have had very cheap interior. The Soul's interior may be cheap but it is much nicer than some of the other new makes I have test drove. I think that the performance is also up to par with the price. It is not luxury but it is nicer enough. This is a perfect car to release with the current economical situation. Just remember that you are buying a KIA not a BMW.

I've owned it for a couple of weeks, and I'm very happy with the car! Great combination of agility , ride height giving good sight lines in city traffic, economy and roominess. American car makers are behind the curve designing big box economy cars.I looked at Cube , XB , and Elantra Touring - the Soul beat 'em all !

My wife and I LOVE this "mini-wagon". This is the first new car for both of us. Between the two of us, we've had alot of different cars and trucks. But this is the greatest, most fun, we've had with any vehicle. Some talk about the "road noise", not sure what they are comparing it to, but we don't feel it's an issue. We set the radio to 5 and have no problem hearing it at highway speed. With the A/C up to max, thanks to the 100 + temps here in Texas, that's the only time we turn up the radio. To get over the fan noise. BUT THAT'S NOT A COMPLAINT. A/C is a MUST.

I just purchased a new 2010 Kia Soul and was used to driving a 2001 BMW X5. I am totally amazed at the performance and fully loaded system the ! (Exclaim) model offers! I love my 18" stylish wheels and low profile tires, mood lighting speakers, and overall look. I never suspected my little gal would get so many neck breaking looks!!! I selected Titanium for the color and totally love it! I never thought I would own a Kia, but when GM and Ford wouldn't deal with me on trade in, I took Head Motor Company up on their offer of giving more for a trade in, no hype there, totally amazing facts!!!

I was not planning on replacing my car. I came across a Soul during some random window shopping. I have had it about three weeks and I like everything about it. It is comfortable. It drives well. It has enough cargo space for my favorite toys.

Husband just picked up a Kia soul automatic and we love it. It's fun to drive, comfortable to ride in, and has plenty of room inside. We got the alien green color which makes the vehicle look sharp. Going from driving a Chevy Cobalt to a Kia Soul is like night and day. The Kia soul is better quality, more features for less money, and a much better driving experience. I feel safe driving in the Soul and my daughter has plenty of room to stretch out her legs. I look forward to taking many trips together as a family. I would recommend the Kia brand to anyone looking to buy a good quality car.

This is my update from about two months ago (7/12/2010). I now have 4106 miles on my Soul!. I still get about 26 mpg depending on my driving. My plastic doesn't seem to mar except for the areas with the controls. The one complaint I have is with the stereo. My original unit was bad and was replaced; however now we are on the 2nd replacement because the unit they put in "shorted itself out". I tend to think the dealer doesn't know how to install stereo equip. Now my two rear speakers and sub are crackling (possibly blown) and the bluetooth feature doesn't work. Hopefully when I get my new unit this will be the last I hear of this problem. Also, had my 1st recall repair; wiring harness

Okay, so I've only had my Soul for a few days, but it has already won me over. Is there some road noise, sure, but it isn't excessive and for under 19K what do you expect...really! And I don't know what some reviewers mean when they complain about the power, I've got the 2.0L engine and unless you're looking to drag race from the red lights, what do you expect? THe car is solid, has all the bells and whistles, great milage, is fun to drive, and has more get up and go than the average day to day driver needs.

My Kia Soul is a great little car I traded in my 2005 Sorento for it . I had decided to get something a little more fun...I am surprised at how well the Soul handles. The car is very comfortable and has a "tight" feel to it. Lots of headroom and visibility. getting about 33 mpg. The rear seats fold down and up easily gives me enough cargo space. People definitely give it a second look. Four a little 4 banger automatic with air it does surprisingly well on the Eway...You don't feel like you are riding low Definitely a good buy if you are looking for economy and don't want to sacrifice quality.

I love my soul. It is fun to drive; from the gas station to the grocery store, people are always asking me about it. Can fit 2 kids in back comfortably, 3 small ones if necessary. Being a smaller person (only 5 feet tall), it is very comfortable. Love the bluetooth and the hand controls. It is quiet and reasonably priced for a city driver.

I'm about 5'9 and I've always had small, compact cars. The Kia Soul is a unique, mini-suv (really) with more leg room than any compact car offers. Safety features, long warranty, Kia's roadside assistance service, impressive STANDARD features, as well as EPA and IIS accolades sold me on this car. For the price and everything you get STANDARD, this car is a good investment. I recently noticed the blind spot everyone mentions, but; that is easily fixed by purchasing "blind-spot" mirrors at a local auto parts store.

I purchased my 2010 Soul in July of 09 and love it mostly overall. Lots of interior room, lots of outside style and very comfortable to drive.

I got my Soul a week ago, and it has really impressed me. I do a lot of city driving and I find the car is comfortable, quick, easy to maneuver, and spacious. My two teenage son's love it. I got the base model, and it is fun to drive.

Just replaced my wife's car with this vehicle. It's a very fun car and it has a unique look. I think it looks sportier than the other boxes. Extremely roomy, especially compared to other cars in its class, with headroom enough to keep your cowboy hat on. Stereo, with sirius, and bluetooth features are well executed. Build quality is not so great. Center console, especially the armrest with storage, feels very cheap. I'm really worried about the hinge on the armrest wearing down. Seats are not as comfortable as the ones in my SUV, but they are on par with the seats in the Jetta we replaced.

A great to to sit and be seen in! I really enjoy sitting in and driving the Kia Soul. The drivers seat is like sitting in Meditation - back straight - head rising above. The interior look makes you feel at home - surrounded by your favorite couch blanket. It is inexpensive ... and some fits that mold. But overall, it has more room and better Soul than a New Beetle.

This is my second review of my + automatic in titanium. Just over 1k mi. and I really like this car. Yes the seats are still a tad firm but I'm getting used to them. BIG omission. There is no light in the large two level glove box! I hate that. Sound system is great. Very happy with my lease.
