2025 Kia Seltos SUV Consumer Reviews

Not worth it
I like the big screen dashboard but this car has very uncomfortable seating and not roomy at all. There is not enough storage space in the car. No back seat storage nets to store things. I stepped down from the sportage and regretting this move. This car is not rugged enough to drive on the bumpy streets of NY and the parking assistant while coming out of a parking spot is hazardous. I have to keep disabling because it almost caused me to get into some accidents. I will never choose this car again luckily I only have it for another year.

Lots to learn
So far, so good. The ride is smooth but the most important thing for me is being able to see over the hood of the vehicle!😊 There are, however, a lot of features that I have not had before so I will spent some time learning new things.

Bought for my 17 y/o. But I drive it more
I Bought it for my newly-driving daughter because of the nice short 172-inch size for easy parking and all the safety features but I find myself driving it as my main vehicle (since she doesn't drive much during the summer until school restarts in September). I really enjoy everything about it. I have the SX with ventilated seats and sunroof in Fusion black color. I find that I can make the mpg much better than advertised. For example: I drive 2.5 miles to the gym every morning and when I drive conservatively obeying the 25 and 35 mph speed limits I get 39 mpg repeatedly. On the other hand when I take a different route where I drive much more aggressively (having some serious fun) I only get 19mpg (but it's worth it from time to time). I'm in New Jersey and the dealer tried to tack on a marketing adjustment and some add-on fees but when I told him never mind, he quickly removed them and ultimately discounted the vehicle from MSRP by $1750. My final vehicle price before taxes and title was $32,400.
