2025 Kia Seltos SUV Consumer Reviews

Great car with lots of bells and whistles
I love this car. The color is beautiful, the drive is smooth and comfortable, and the price is perfect. Seelye Kia of Battle Creek and salesman Chai Vue are the best.

Kind of mediocre
They kind of went cheap on this vehicle yet the price isn’t. Simulated leather interior that probably wont last the life of the vehicle. Wired CarPlay but not wireless - in a 2025 vehicle. And with a dash full of electronics that if they go out the car could not be driven safely (speedometer, out), they only give a 3 wear warranty - and warn you what will happen if you don’t buy an extended warranty. That bit of info also got me to walk away from the purchase. And few other issues exist but these are the major ones.

Not worth it
I like the big screen dashboard but this car has very uncomfortable seating and not roomy at all. There is not enough storage space in the car. No back seat storage nets to store things. I stepped down from the sportage and regretting this move. This car is not rugged enough to drive on the bumpy streets of NY and the parking assistant while coming out of a parking spot is hazardous. I have to keep disabling because it almost caused me to get into some accidents. I will never choose this car again luckily I only have it for another year.

Best In Class Affordable Compact SUV! Homerun!
My wife and I were looking for an affordable option that we feel would be reliable, comfortable, and safe for our travels. We found all of that and more in our 2025 Seltos S! Our previous SUV is a 2013 GMC Terrain SLE1. We loved the Terrain, but since 125K miles it has began to give us a lot of problems with the 2.4 ltr engine and other systems. It is still sitting in our garage undrivable! We opted not to trade it in with our KIA purchase. Hendricks KIA of Concord was outstanding to work with and made us truly feel welcome and helped us through each step of our purchase with no pressure whatsoever, and in fact went way above and beyond helping us! But this review is about the 2025 Seltos, so let me get back to that. I know some reviews don't give respect to the 2.0 ltr 4-cylinder, but it has good enough power for my driving habits (which it learns in "Smart mode") when driving. I love the fact that the IVVT (CVT) transmission can be switched to "Normal", "Sport", and "Smart" modes of driving; In fact the Sport mode is aggressive in power output and is awesome to have on the highways, if needed. The inside is roomy enough for us and the cargo space is Outstanding! The Tech features are awesome as is the instrumentation and info-tainment touch screen; It should be noted that the screen is smooth and seamless all in one dimension of size. Other vehicles we looked at these screens were separate with the Info-tainment center looking like a vertical IPad screen (which I hated). The seats fit us really good and I haven't found it uncomfortable on a long drive. Gas mileage is awesome! I'm averaging 32 mpg with combined city/highway driving. Overall We love our Seltos, extremely satisfied with our purchase, and KIA hit a homerun with the Seltos!

Rides great, very comfortable, lots of safety features. Great on gas all for a good price. Wish they put in LED headlights and dual climate control.
