2024 Kia K5 issue.
I bought a brand new 2024 Kia K5 Gt the day after Christmas. In less than a month and a half with 880 miles alle the light went on and there was no power. Not sure what happened. I turned it off then back on, power was back but check engine light satyed on. Took to dealership and they told me make an appointment. I did but in the days following the car reset and light went off. It did it again about 2 weeks later and again before I could go in check engine light went off. Dealer said take it in as soon as it cone on next time. Been sitting here for 2 hours while they tinker with the car and no idea what it is.

Beautiful replacement for Optims
The car is absolutely beautiful. My only complaint about the car is the paint. I can’t take it to a regular car wash. Was told the brushes may scrap the paint. The complaint I have about the dealership is it took nearly 7 hours to complete transaction. We had to wait forever.
Everything works perfectly
I have only had the car about 3 weeks and 1000 miles. Everything works perfectly and it is very smooth and quiet. Why spend more. They don't get any better. Update: It has been 6 months and 5500 miles now and still perfect.

What have they done!?!?!?
This is my 3rd and last Kia, my first two were Optimas. I purchased the EX and absolutely HATE this car. It's missing so many standard options; no auto rearview dimmer, no heated/cooled back seats, The radio/heat and cooling dash area is a joke. No autolink to open the garage door...all standard on my Optimas. For $41,000 I'd expect more. It has a for sale sign in the rear windows already. Talked to the dealer to discuss options; according to them there are none so I'll be paying over $600 a month for a car I hate. Will NEVER buy another Kia.
