price, quality, warranty, looks, road noise, engine acceleration, smart interior controls, and the ride quality for a sedan at this price really surprised and sold me on this unit-test drive one and you will understand kia is giving this vehicle away to get the american consumer to buy kia.

Drove the Soul (which is GREAT looking, but a bit too small for my needs), the Honda Fit, & a couple others on my radar as well. Forte won, hands down--simply no other car on the market gives the same bang for the buck. Terrific handling and cornering, & features for price can't be beat. Bluetooth: way cool. Sirius satellite: one of those things you didn't know you needed 'til you have it. Ipod connect: sweet! (note, you can get the ipod connector on ebay all day long for less than $20, including shipping--nearly $40 thru the dealer) Trunk is so big, it's almost magic. Ride is quiet and smooth, plenty of room in back seat. Kia is here to stay--Detroit, take note!

Extend warranty

I bought the sx sedan few days ago, Kia trying to sell me on the extended 10 yr warranty for around $32 mo for 60 mo. Sounded like the 1st 5 yrs are the same as Kia warranty. Also, I got car for $17,800 otd everything except leather, not sure yet if I like the sunroof

I enjoy driving the car. It suspension is very rough on bumps on road. I also own a Camry and it rides a lot better. The car has good power and the shift is easy in the 6 speed. It was supposed to come with a mirror that dims and it did not I pay for it and it did not have it and they told me I was not going to get one. I was upset about that.

I was given a rent a car when my car was in for repair. I requested the 2010 Forte that was on the lot since I had an interest in buying one and thought that this would be the perfect opportunity for an extended test drive. I liked the car and all of the extras that are included.. bluetooth, etc. I was pleased with the ride and the gas mileage was OK. I was hoping for a little better. HOWEVER, I was very disappointed that in 7 places on the car, the paint was already bubbling and peeling. The paint appeared to be applied in a tthin fashion. I know this was an issue on one of the 2005 Kia models but would have hoped this was corrected. Has anyone else had any problem like this????
