Used 2006 Jeep Liberty Consumer Reviews
I'll never buy another Chrysler
I like most people have had nothing but problems with the windows. I have had to replace all the window regulators and now I have had problems with the sun roof. I have had the torque converter worked on as well as the tranny. The biggest problem now though is the air conditioning only works when it feels like it and no one can tell me what the problem is. And of course I am out of warranty! I only have 47,000 miles on this thing! Oh and to add to all that the gas mileage stinks! I average around 15-16 mpg. That's only a little better than the husbands 1991 Chevy 4x4!
Recall and Crush
Traded in 96 xj Cherokee with 298k on it for this Lemon,, What was jeep thinking.. Liberty Averages 13mpg, it can't tow, It is usless off road, It is slow, the interior rattles, Needed balljoints at 43k cv joints at 65k, rear spring broke at around 70, Traded it in on a 2001 xj with low miles.... Big Mistake!
I have had to fix the window regulators SIX times in two years. I bought the car brand new and the problem started within six months of owning the car! The dealerships answer to this problem," Buy an extended warranty!" I think that Jeep Liberty owners should file a Class- Action Suit against Jeep-Chrysler! No wonder they are going bankrupt!
All time high
I really enjoy driving the Jeep Liberty. I wanted one years ago and finaly was able to afford one.I recently purchased my Jeep 2006 in June 2009. I just love it! I have already taken it on the road and can`t believe how smooth the drive actually is.Since the models style doesn`t change much, people think it is a newer model.I get nothing but compliments on the Liberty`s looks. If I ever trade in this model.... 2009 Liberty ranks very high on my list.
Jeep-Burt!
I have never had any trouble with owning a Jeep. This is now the second Jeep Liberty that I have owned. I have noticed that the 2005 model drives a little smoother. I have noticed that when the wind is blowing hard and driving on the highway that the change in the suspension has helped out tremendously in the new model. Also, they put the window controls in a smarter place in the 2005 model. But you could never go wrong with a Jeep!
