Nice surprise
Great car. Wasn't interested at first since I'd only seen women driving it, but I've been very pleased and whenever there has been a little problem, Jeep takes care of its customers. Gas mileage is disappointing but that's the only thing that isn't great.
Will Never Buy Jeep Again
We have a 2006 Liberty and have had nothing but problems with the windows. First the rear driver side window just slid down one day about 6 months into the lease and never came back up again - we had never even lowered the window once since we got the car. Today, about 18 months into the lease, the driver's window did the same thing. I asked the service manager to inspect the other 2 windows so I don't have to come back 2 more times for the same problem and he said no - they have to break first. Jeep knows about the problem and refuses to issue recall - beware!!!

All my window regulators have failed ..
I purchased the diesel model to get better mileage, am happy with the vehicle with the exception of the window mechanism. Each window regulator has failed at least once and had been replaced while still under warranty. The driver side rear modulator has been replaced twice and now failed for the 3rd time (now no longer under warranty). This is crazy, these regulators are way overdue for a recall, shame on you Jeep! This is my third jeep in in the last 10 years, and probably my last.
Wow what a car!
This SUV has been pretty decent. I have not had a problem with this car. I have 41,000 miles on this and had to replace the brakes already. I hate bouncy they are! Fuel is not to bad. If I was to buy a another car it would be a Chevy. Not Dodge
the car I've always wanted
Well, it's finally mine. My 2006 Jeep Liberty. It's not the most comfortable car, nor the most powerful, but it defines me. It's definitely, a "man's car" or, at least mine feels like it. And I love it! Though, my friends are mad because they all have stupid economical imports. But in all seriousness, the Liberty is my top pick. It's the best small SUV out there. The looks, inside and out, are just great, and my girlfriend says it matches my eyes? Hah, "Jeep green" and a lot of my tall friends can fit in perfectly. Who cares about gas when you make everyone who carpools with you pay for it? :) Haha, I love my Jeep, and it's worth every penny!
