First SUV owned and went with the best makers of off road vehicles. So far so good I'm loving my Jeep.

I've only owned it one week. For the last two years I've been looking at the Jeep Liberty. I'm not quite used to being up so high (previous car was a Grand Prix). It's fun to drive and I feel very secure. Having horses, it's very practical for me. I think I've made the right choice.

I am 5' tall with a boyfriend of 6'6", we both fit quite well and comfortably to drive the jeep. I have had 2 recalls since I purchased ( no big deal). It drives great, looks good, the interior is designed very well. The 1/3 and 2/3 split back seats fold down easily. Leather seats with heater great. However, my mileage is 13 - 15.7 (15 on highway) per gal. I drive mostly highway and conservatively, no sudden stops or starts. I can see the gas gauge go down as I drive. The overhead says avg mileage stays at 14 - 14.8 MPG, manual calculations show it correct

I have had my Jeep Liberty a little over two years and have had it at the shop five times because the motors on the windows are failing. Now the back hatch is rattling and the dealership cannot find anything wrong. I only have about 20,000 miles on the Jeep and the windows get very little use. What's the deal? I will not buy another Chrysler product. I should have learned my lesson with the Dodge Durango!
