Transmission problems
I purchased my Livery when it was 2 years old. I loved it!!!! Very comfortable and fun to drive. At 58,000 miles, I began to experience transmission problems. The transmission slips constantly in damp and snowy weather and the check engine light comes on. Took it to the dealer 3 times and they still can't find the problem. Calls to the Jeep customer service have been useless. I am also having trouble with the rear passenger window going down. My warranty will expire soon and I am concerned I will be stuck with a huge repair bill. I love the looks and the comfort, but I will NEVER buy another Jeep vehicle. The gas mileage stinks as well. About 15 city. 18 hwy.
Love my Jeep
I have had my Jeep Liberty Sport for a few months now and I really love it. It's fun to drive and excellent on gas. Great deal!

junk
I purchased a new Jeep Liberty earlier this year. At about 1200 miles I went to get an oil change, and the mechanic told me some fluid was leaking out of the rear end. I immediately went to the dealership to see about the problem. Came to find out that the rear end was going out. In order to have it fixed I had to leave it there for 3 days. They gave me the worst rental car I have ever seen, the windows wouldn't even roll down. I will never go back to that dealer again. I traded my Jeep in ( I lost money) and got something else. It was a problem waiting to happen.
I LOVE IT!
Absolutely love my Jeep Liberty. It's great.
Like my turbo diesel
The turbo four cylinder diesel has provided about 25 miles per gallon for overall mileage - 23 mpg in winter. I needed something versatile and with decent mileage and have been very pleased with the diesel Liberty. I like it as an urban commuting vehicle because of the great turning radius and the good visibility makes it easy to drive and park. Mileage is very good for an SUV. Great vehicle for taking canoe and camping gear into the back woods. Very good off road. OK on freeway. Not luxurious, but it looks good and is well made. The bonus is the very good towing ability of the diesel engine. Not sure why Chrysler didn't build and promote this vehicle more. Its a sleeper, but a keeper!
