Used 2003 Jeep Liberty Consumer Reviews
Jeep Specifics
My 2002 ltd is quite masterful on sloppy roadways (mud, snow, rocks, debris in general) HOWEVER.. I would recommend purchasing and utilizing the "Full-Time" 4WD option in any rainy conditions. I have found the notable weight and high center-of-gravity can easily cause a slide on curves at "reasonable" speeds when in 2WD mode. My only other issue was at around 1800 miles a speed sensor fried and intermittently would totally screw up the transmissions functioning. This took 3 trips to a dealership and the involvement of a Chrysler Tech.(via phone) out of Mich. to run down the proper diagnostics. Everythings been cool since the new sensor though.
Jeep Liberty - One-Year Review
I have owned this vehicle for one year this month. I have not had a single problem: it is built like a vault. Liberty is a home run. A real billy goat with onroad manners and unique sculpting in keeping with the Jeep brand. Under $30K for a loaded brawny, capable, stylish and refined Jeep. I will keep mine for a long time!

Jeep thing!!!
I love my jeep liberty.. the only thing I would complain about is that every jeep liberty owner that I've talked to has had the same problem.. they develope a squeaking noise after the first year that's attributed to the water pump.. That can be a little annoying...Other than that I love my jeep,it does very good in the snow and the mud.. I love it!!!
