Auto Off Lights

This is my only disappointment with my first Jeep. The auto off for lights is not standard and cannot be added. I haven't had to pay attention to turning off lights for YEARS. This could have been a deal breaker if I had realized prior to purchase.

Just bought the Laredo 3.7 ltr yesterday. Am a loyal Chevy man. Wife wanted to try the Jeep. Initial driving seems nice. Back seat area seems to be a little tight. Doesn't seem to be as solid as the Chevy Equinox. Nice looking vehicle. Time will tell for me though. Rated it as 5's in all categories for now. Will rate again as time goes on.

Under 100k and not impressed.

My 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee was under 100k and has already required a new water pump, had a crack in a gasket and I never cease to see the light on the dash indicating an engine problem. My next vehicle will definitely not be a Jeep. I’m hoping I can keep this one going for 3 more years but, I won’t hold my breath. I have without fault, kept up with every oil change every 3k, never abused the engine and, kept it so clean you could eat off of it, summer or winter. I give it a “2 stars” rating and that’s being generous. As of today, the key fob won’t open the gate and I have to roll down the windows to unlock the doors to open them. I also have to take the key fob key out and physically put it in the door to enter. 🤬 Hopefully, my next car will treat me as good as I’ve treated this one. My advice is buy a Honda or Toyota, they’ll probably outlive you. Thanks for listening to my rant.

170 000 Miles still going strong

Bought brand new initial problems with computer crashing while a few old and not being programmed correctly. and Key fob not working on occasion also ironed out in first couple of years. Since then normal wear and tear . I diligently change oil every 3000 miles and transmission every 30 000. Ayear ago water got into the computer unit which cost me $1000. Otherwise its been a tremendous car. The transmission is butter smooth and the engine just keeps on trucking... doubt the later models would be this trouble free. Replacement of water pump, alternator, sway bars but compared to buying a new car a small price to Pay! Confident it will be a 200 000 mile car...
