Highly Satisfied Buyer
Previous 3 SUV's were GCLs. Particularly enjoy the feel, confort and the many "bells and whistles" of the Overland especially rain-sensitive wipers and tire pressure monitor. Appreciate pleasing interior design. Would highly recommend to my friends.
this jeep rocks!!!

Everything but adjustable brake pedals
We have taken it on 2 long trips and its a fine car except it requires premium fuel and the economy is less than expected. It was picked up with a slight miss and it still does but worse when hot. The GPS has a lot of nice features and someday it will navigate using more roads so that direct routes can be used rather than just major roads. It is not as good as a hand held portable GPS for routing. It handles surprisingly well at high speeds and if you need some power its there when you need it. Its fast.
Comfy in Colorado
its my third jeep and couldn't be happier. gas mileage is suspect, possibly due to break in period. very comfortable, great paint, interior controls are very friendly and close without over reaching. what gives with the bug shield?? need a better mounting system for that otherwise beat it up and treat it like a jeep!
Mechanical parts stand the test of time
I am the first owner of my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Columbia Edition and have had it for 15 years. Positives: Mechanical parts are solid and 4WD still works like a champ. Just recently getting to the point were some major issues (radiator leaking and resealing engine block) need addressed. Negatives There have always been electrical issues with this model, but not to a fault of driving. I have replaced a door wiring harness and have a sensor that still erroneously goes off once in a while.
