Just got a 2004, graphite Overland with GPS. Traded in my 2001 Limited This is a sweet ride. Much better seats than in the Limited. Side support and heating function much better.

This is my first SUV. It is smaller than the van I got rid of...but what a fun vehicle. Runs like a watch, goes like crazy with the high outout V-8. Leahter interior is so soft and comfortable. GPS system works great. I do love to drive this vehicle and bought a Jeep roof carrier as well as a bike carrier from the dealer. Also just had installed the Blue Tooth Cell phone option which is incredible! Would like a little more interior room but overall what a great incredible awesome ride!

Comfortable for long and short trips alike. Great acceleration for passing. Handles road imperfections smoothly and far less body roll than my '95 Laredo, it feels good. The vehicle does seem to wander a bit in a strong cross wind. I live on a dirt road in the mountains - QuadraDrive system is sure footed on all surfaces, including ice and snow. Heated seats are great. 18-20 mpg seems good for a V-8 SUV.

the inside was poorly designed. there isn't enough leg room on a long trip. not enough places to put glasses and things. I feel closed in the jeep should be wider. Other than that I love my jeep

This car, which I keep in Switzerland, has dispelled rumors that the Grand Cherokee is unstable. I have driven it hard in mountainous, very narrow and extremely winding Swiss roads to my total satisfaction. It's only serious flaw is fuel economy. I have a stable at home that includes an 04 Cayenne S, a 99 Range Rover 4.6, a 98 E430 Avantgarde Mercedes, two Limiteds- 00 & 04, all in Costa Rica, two Saharas- a 93 YJ in Costa Rica and a 99TJ in Miami, and the featured Overland in Switzerland for comparison purposes.
