Nothing compares with this beauty

I am in the process of purchasing my third S-Type. No car on the road today has the appeal of this modern classic. The reto look has given me the chance to drive a Jag from the E-Type era, with the curves of the XJ6 Series 2. The lines on this car make it stunning and down-right beautiful. For the many years I waited for a modern XKE, I find myself driving a S-Type and not the XK8 or XKR. This car is a gem.

Previous satisfied owner of 2000 S Type 4.0 Liter V8. Was impressed with 2003 S Type 4.2 Liter V8 new suspension, 6 speed transmission, and completely redesigned interior(much better). Vehicle has even better power, drive, performance, and is much quieter than first model (which I loved). They really have thought about where things could be improved and have surprised me in topping the original. I plan to keep this car for many years.

My experience with tha jag is alsome! This is my first expensive car and it rides like a fighting machine! I think it has BMW's faded all the way. I would tell anybody in the market of buying a car, to check out the jaguar!

Almost crashed

While turning left , at a slow speed , my car suddenly accelerated. In order to avoid 2 pedestrians, I turned my car into the curb. I immediately turned off my ignition. This demon car had a mine of its own! One of the pedestrians said my front wheels locked while my rear wheels were spinning. I was only a few houses from my residence. Very scary! I could have easily killed myself and the 2 pedestrians. The car is in the shop, but I’m too afraid to drive this unpredictable car.

A totally fun car to drive. After owning Cadillac's since 1987, its nice to own a luxury car that you don't have to take back to the dealership for warranty work. The 3.0L version that I own has plenty of pep to accelerate when I need too. Quality is outstanding. Road noise is minimal, sound system is great.
